Notes:
All these devices are of high quality and in perfect condition. On a technical level, the apartment is fully controlled before the first rental. On the other hand, in order to secure customers I stay on Uzes rental time in case of technical problems or other I can intervene in 10 minutes. That reassures. Bed and pillows with memory of form. And not orthopedic bad translation.

Great vacation in Uzès

This is a wonderful apartment, beautifully decorated - it’s like visiting friends or family! You don’t feel like you are in a rental. It’s a great experience and very relaxing. Quiet and close to bakery and other shops. Convenient to all major sites in Provence and Nimes, the Camargue etc. And the Ardèche. Lovely balcony. Internet that works well. Tons of travel magazines and interesting books (mostly in French). No elevator so if you have trouble with 3 story climb you need to be aware, But was never an issue for us.

Lovely, friendly, responsive and attentive owner who really makes effort to make you feel at home ... as this is her apartment and others have already mentioned. We plan to return in the mid season next time. Recommended!

Nous avons pu passer une soirée ensemble autour d’un apéritif au cours duquel, ils m’ont précisé leurs visites aux alentours’ d’Uzes. Ils ont laissé un appartement impeccable, bien rangé et propres. Ils m’ont offert également des draps de bain achetés pour la plage.... j’espere bien les recevoir à nouveau. Ils en bénéficieront à nouveau. Vraiment un couple délicieux et généreux. The apartment is in a beautiful location right on the edge of the centre of historic Uzes where we have holidayed for years. We decided from early on in our fortnight stay that whilst the apartment was ok it was not somewhere we'd stay in again. This decision was reinforced when the owner refused to give us all of our deposit back on spurious totally ridiculous grounds. Home and Away stepped in and dealt with it immediately and we were refunded the full deposit. Just to assist others in deciding whether to rent this property or not I add the following details to the owners spec. There are 60 steps up to the apartment no problem for us but it might be for some. The shower is over the bath and there are strict instructions (all in French) to say do not use the bath as a bath as it could fall through the ceiling. There was no shower curtain , grab rails or non slip mat either. Could be a problem depending on who you are. The bed is an orthopaedic bed and we found it very uncomfortable it being hard wood under the mattress. The heat in the apartment was on certain days unbearable and there was no fan. The owner lives in the apartment when she is not renting it out therefore it is full of personal effects including in the fridge and freezer. Again this may not bother some people but it was not what we were used to. I was penalised as I'd put glasses and pans back in the wrong place but as the place was so full of stuff it was difficult to remember the exact spot to return items to. The washer could only be used at certain times and again strict instructions as to how household linens had to be washed and dried. No products were left for us to follow these rules I.e.softening sheets in the tumble drier so we were told that all of the towels and sheets I'd washed prior to leaving had to be washed again as they were not soft enough. I could go on. I would urge caution in renting this property. The owners comments upset me greatly to the point where I'm not sure if I'll make the trip to Uzes again. It was all stressful especially as the owner spoke no English at all but felt able to send me lengthy diatribes in French that I had to get a friend to translate. I had my letters to her translated so she could understand my issues. Until this unpleasant end to our stay we did enjoy Uzes and would have not put any of this online. It was because of what I perceived to be a personal insult and her withholding of a chunk of our deposit that I felt I had to.

Owner's Response: Ces personnes ont effectivement séjourné chez moi durant deux semaines. Durant ce laps de temps, aucune remarque, ni par e-mail, ni par téléphone. Tout allait bien. La veille de leur départ j’ai reçu un message Chère Lily, nous désirons partir demain à 8 h. Où mettons les clefs ? Ce qui signifie qu’ils ne souhaitaient pas faire d’etat des lieux de sortie. !!!! J’etais donc devant l’immeuble 1/4 h avant.... ces personnes partaient avec leurs bagages. Mr m’a remis les clefs dans la main. Quant à elle qui parle très bien le français, lorsque je lui ai demandé si tout allait bien pas de problème technique ? Elle a répondu non tout va bien. Je leur ai dit au revoir en présence de certains occupants de l´immeuble. Ensuite à l´appartement j’ai constate en présence de la personne qui m’aide au ménage et qui était présente lors de leur arrivée : voir attestation. Un sac de poubelles laissé sur le sol, Plus de liquide vaisselle ni éponge, café non remplacé. L’évier en marbre brut couleur sable était couleur café. 3 j de javel pour le récupérer.....bonde lave main bloquée, filtres de la robinetterie retires. Afin d’éviter d’acheter du liquide vaisselle, celle ci était entreposée en vrac sur les étagères, frigo, non lavée. Les plaques du four dégoulinantes d’huile, la terrasse n’avait pas été balayée, 3 pelles de feuilles et fleurs. Les serviettes éponges seulement’ rincees sans produit, ni assouplisseur.... 14 h30 de menage, poêle remplacée, j’ai souhaité retenir 50€ sur la caution.vexée car j’avais découvert la manipulation m’à menacée de prendre un avocat, m’a diffamée directement sur le site alors que j’ai répondu sur son adresse e-mail. Les serviettes et draps datent de Mars de cette année et ont été remises pour le client suivant voir son appréciation, la personne architecte d’interieur a fort apprécié la décoration, bon goût, l’aperitif offert, ainsi que le petit déjeuner pour leur arrivée. Homelidays m’a remerciée d’avoir eu la compréhension de faire en sorte que tout se passe bien pour le client suivant. Classée Premium, inscrite depuis 5 ans ainsi que sur 1 autre site. 5/5 On m’a demandé un dossier avant/après et attestations + 11 photos. Tout a été fourni. Je précise que le ménage est gratuit ni taxe les produits de première nécessité sont a la disposition des clients. Aucun problème signalé. Il y a suffisamment de place dans cet appartement pour bien circuler, voir les photos. Oreillers a mémoire de forme pas orthopédique !!

Well located apartment in this interesting historic town

The owner, Lilyane, a delightfully friendly lady, welcomed us into this traditional apartment on the top floor of a lovely old townhouse. She left us a bottle of wine and invited us to use any of the things left in the fridge. When not rented out, this is the owner’s home and it is filled with her interesting and varied collectables. Standing on the terrace or, looking between the potted plants if seated, you can enjoy a superb view across the rooftops towards the countryside and mountains in the distance. The sunsets are spectacular. The apartment is excellently positioned for the heart of the old town.

A beautiful apartment with lovely terrace

The apartment is in a traditional large house, conveniently located in the old centre of Uzès. It is beautifully furnished and decorated, and with an amazing library. It is extremely well equipped - the best equipped kitchen I have ever come across. The owner was most helpful and available for any problems - not that we had any. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

A real home in ravishing Uzès

Wonderfully situated, this delightful flat with super terrace was exactly what I wanted for my week's stay in Uzès. I immediately felt at home in the flat, so charmingly decorated by its equally charming owner, Liliane. The kitchenette provides everything you could possibly need and it was obvious that Liliane is as passionate about good, healthy, food as she is about interior design. I particularly appreciated the fresh apricots, bread and delicious panettone that she presented me with on my arrival. What a delightful touch. Uzès was, of course, as ravishing as I had remembered. Best time of day was breakfast on the cool terrace with only the birds for company. Altogether a lovely stay. Would not hesitate to recommend it to any single person or couple who wanted to experience a real home in Uzès. Merci infiniment, Liliane.

Self-drive output REMOULINS management Uzes (20 kms) or exit Nimes-east, direction and Dions Uzès (25 kms).

Arriving on Uzes from Nimes and / or Remoulins, take direction city center, at the TOTAL station on the left, turn left and stay in front of the terminal in the pedestrian area. Call me when you arrived I would come lower terminal. Then small street Bourgade: the building is at No. 16 left side, you can be reached by car to drop off your luggage and then park on my private and secure parking 300 meters from the apartment.

City of Art and History, Uzes has a glorious past and a sumptuous architectural heritage.

Uzès and its colorful markets. Produce, Wednesday and Saturday (jazz orchestra Place aux Herbes and cafes with sunny terraces). And other charming little gourmet restaurants in the medieval streets, beautiful mansions renaissance.

Visit castles, capitelles, the Pont du Gard, 1st Duchy of France, which still belongs to the ducal family who stays there for nearly 1,000 years, the medieval garden, the Musée Haribo.

Strolling in the Eure Valley to enjoy the cool shade.

The nearest restaurants to the apartment. The Hôstellerie Provencal rue Grande Bourgade and Grezac in front of the Savings Bank .... And the Italian Betina.
