About Karen Griffin

My husband and I live in Greenville, RI. Our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren live in Chapel Hill. We bought this townhouse so we could spend a few months during the cold NE winters with our children. We enjoy coming to Chapel Hill because of the diversity and college atmosphere and because we love being with our family. We equipped our townhouse with everything that we want when we come to Chapel Hill and have made it into a real home. We have it professionally cleaned after each visitor and it is spotless when you arrive. We think you will be very comfortable and pleased with all the amenities and what we offer. Conveniently located near three major supermarkets, tons of restaurants, UNC and Duke.

What makes this townhome unique

We looked at many townhouses in the area but choose this one for it's beautiful wooded setting and it's convenience to both Chapel Hill, UNC, Duke, Durham and Raleigh International Airport. We especially like being so close to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Staples, Harris Teeter's and a plethora of shopping, good restaurants at varying price ranges, cultural activities and outdoor opportunities. We love walking the Booker Creek and Copper Line trails with our family and attending the year round festivals.

Wonderful first experience with HomeAway

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was spacious, bright and located near some wonderful walking trails. Our hosts were nearby and very helpful in addressing any questions we had. The only drawback was the high temperature variability between different parts of the condo when bedroom doors were closed. However, our hosts are replacing the windows which accounted for the difference. We would definitely stay there again. We loved the proximity to shopping, entertainment and nature. Thanks Karen and Malcom.

Property is conveniently located to Chapel Hill and Durham in a quiet neighborhood.

This condo is older and would benefit from the owner's attention to some maintenance issues. The owner was pleasant to deal with. The unit was well equipped. Good location.

Very comfortable with a good floorplan

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I just stayed at this CH townhouse for 6 weeks. The unit is very comfortable and suited our needs well. The floorplan worked well for us, having everything on one floor. The kitchen is well outfitted and easy for cooking. The location is near Franklin St., making it convenient to enjoy Chapel Hill. The neighborhood is very quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay.
