2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Townhouse Located Between Chapel Hill And Durham
About Karen Griffin
My husband and I live in Greenville, RI. Our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren live in Chapel Hill. We bought this townhouse so we could spend a few months during the cold NE winters with our children. We enjoy coming to Chapel Hill because of the diversity and college atmosphere and because we love being with our family. We equipped our townhouse with everything that we want when we come to Chapel Hill and have made it into a real home. We have it professionally cleaned after each visitor and it is spotless when you arrive. We think you will be very comfortable and pleased with all the amenities and what we offer. Conveniently located near three major supermarkets, tons of restaurants, UNC and Duke. We take pride in our home and our response to our tenants questions and needs.

What makes this Townhome unique
We looked at many townhouses in the area but choose this one for it's beautiful wooded setting and it's convenience to both Chapel Hill, UNC, Duke, Durham and Raleigh International Airport. We especially like being so close to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Staples, Harris Teeter's and a plethora of shopping, good restaurants at varying price ranges, cultural activities and outdoor opportunities. We love walking the Booker Creek and Copper Line trails with our family and attending the year round festivals.

Quiet Chapel Hill living
The condo was just great for our needs. Really close to grocery stores, and East Franklin Street amenities, and in a lovely wooded and quiet neighborhood. Great areas for dog walking too. The condo is very well supplied with everything you need, and Karen was a very attentive host who checked by phone in to make sure everything was fine.
We spent a week at Chapel Hill and the home was very nice. The location was great. We were close to a mall, groceries, gym and easy hikes through nature. The owner called towards the end of our stay to see how things were and if they could make the home better for their next guest. Karen was easy to talk to and was willing to make any accommodations if necessary. Thank you , Karen, for sharing your home with my family.
Relaxing and Enjoying Stay
My daughter and I stayed at Karen and Malcolm's comfortable townhouse for over three months and enjoyed our stay very much. We rented three other homes during our five month stay in the Durham/Chapel Hill area and this townhouse was our favorite. We had everything that we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and the location cannot be beat! We had medical appointments in Durham, Chapel Hill and Raleigh and everything was in close proximity. Several grocery stores (including Whole Foods and Trader Joes) are just right up the street, as are great restaurants. The UNC campus is minutes away as well. The townhouse is located in a very nice wooded neighborhood that is great for strolling or dog walking and is located on a very quiet cul-de-sac. Seeing deer in the woods around the house was an added treat! Karen and Malcolm were extremely accommodating, flexible and responsive. We would return in a heartbreak if we ever need a place to stay in the Chapel Hill/Durham area.
Thanks, Sheila. It was a pleasure having you and your daughter as renters.
Very nice and cozy town house in a quiet neighborhood
We were in Chapel Hill for two months for my mini-sabbatical, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying in this townhouse! The owners were extremely helpful, and the townhouse was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable to stay. Grocery stores and cafes were in a few minutes drive, which was very convenient. I also enjoyed biking to UNC via a nice bike lane that starts in the neighborhood and leads to the downtown area. Thanks, Karen and Malcolm!!
Thanks, Yoshi!! It was great having you both as renters.
