The Coronado Shores is the best. Guard gated secluded private resort setting nestled between the award winning Coronado beaches and the beautiful San Diego Bay. Located next to the historic Del Coronado Hotel it is walking distance to shops and restaurants in lovely downtown Coronado.

This two bedroom 6th floor corner unit located in the La Princesa building features breathtaking, panoramic views through its floor to ceiling windows of San Diego Bay, Coronado Bay Bridge, Coronado Golf Course, Del Coronado Hotel and San Diego skyline. The large, private balcony is the best seat in the city to all of the 4th of July activities and fireworks.

The unit was recently updated and features granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms, soft, luxurious carpet in the living room and bedrooms and beautiful tile floors in the bathrooms. There is a King size bed in the Master and two twins in the guest bedroom. The Master features a walk-in closet and the Master bath has two sinks and a shower. Powered blinds on every window (blackout in the bedrooms). There is a 55” large flat TV in the living room and 32” flat screen TV’s in the each bedroom. Cable TV, high speed internet, and a sound system with blue tooth capability are all provided. The living room and dining areas are nicely furnished in a modern theme. The kitchen and bar are fully equipped and fresh linens and towels are included. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit.

The very secure building has 24/7 manned guard gate and 24/7 very friendly doormen in the lobby. The garage is gated with a remote clicker for access. The complex features four private heated pools, two of them are designated quiet pools for relaxing enjoyment and the other are kid friendly for the entire family to enjoy. One pool is a lap pool. All of the pools have oversized hot tubs and gas BBQ’s. There is a private Health Club with all of the latest workout equipment and eight private tennis courts.

We live in Phoenix and rented various units in the Coronado Shores for over 20 year before we bought this unit. Our goal is to retire here, but we are not ready to retire so we are sharing our paradise/unit with renters until then. We both love Coronado and believe it a very special place.

I submit this review re our stay in #602 La Princesa, Coronado Shores this past summer because of my - our - enthusiasm for our time there. For starters - I am very familiar with the Shores campus and I prefer not only the Bay side with all it's activities and lights but the 6th floor height. I appreciate the ready access to the ocean and it's beach and to the Del Coronado Hotel with it's attractive amenities. The unit is on a corner of the building adding to spectacular views AND cross ventilation. The designer furnishings are handsome, fresh and comfortable; and the home is beautifully supplied with kitchen and linen supplies including recreational equipment for use on the beach. The storage space is most generous. Lastly the building itself is attractive with a pleasant and helpful staff. The experience holds the notation of 'repeater' on my bucket list.
