Nestled in the quiet Highlands neighborhood, this home is conveniently located close to hiking/biking trails, major ski resorts, beaches, and restaurants.
This comfortable and updated 4 bedroom home has an open floor plan, which is great for family gatherings and entertaining in the kitchen/dining/living room area. The house has all updated furniture, beds, mattresses, sheets, towels, etc (everything has been purchased within the last 2 years...no 20+ year old mattresses and scratchy sheets here).
The living room has a wood-burning fireplace and a 60" flat-screen TV to enjoy HD cable and/or movies. The front deck is right off the living room where you can enjoy views of the trees, mountains, and filtered lake views. There's also a gas grill and hammock (late spring-early fall) on the deck along with an outdoor table and chairs.
The kitchen is well-equipped with pots/pans, coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, blender, sharp knives, toaster, crockpot, spices, etc. You'll be cooking with gas and then the dishwasher can do all the cleaning.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and a full bathroom; the master also has a 42" tv with cable. The 2nd bedroom, which is also upstairs on the main floor has a queen bed and a 2nd full bathroom in the hallway. Downstairs, you'll find the 3rd bedroom with a queen size bed and a desk with the option to hook into a computer monitor if anyone in your group needs to work. Bedroom #4 has bunk beds (twin bed over full size bed). All 3 bathrooms are updated and have bathtubs.

There are miles and miles of trails that you can access 1/2 mile from the house. Just walk down the street, jump on the trails, and explore any time of year.
Skylandia Beach is 1 mile from the house. It's a great walk, bike ride, or quick drive to the beach. This sandy beach has plenty of space and is also dog-friendly (on-leash in peak summer periods). There's also a great coffee shop/bakery by Skylandia.
The house is located 2 miles to the heart of Tahoe City for more restaurants/bars and drive or jump on bikes to head down the paved path to town.
Skiing/Snowboarding? Conveniently located 15-20 minutes to Squaw Valley, Alpine, Northstar, and Homewood ski resorts.
Sledding for the kids (and adults)? North Tahoe Regional Park and Tahoe City Winter Sports Park are both a short drive and Granlibakken is only 10-15 minutes away.
Golf? Tahoe City Golf Course is less than 10 minutes away.
