Our three night stay at the Chandelet was wonderful. We had such a great time with kids and Grandkids. There was something for everyone. Some enjoyed downhill skiing while others did CX country. We hiked the nearby falls on our way to Lake Superior and drove out to see Copper Peak ski jump. There were plenty of games to do inside and sliding for the kids outside. The time went so fast. Two days was hardly enough. The house fit us well. Sue was very nice to deal with and answered all of our questions. Would be fun to come back to someday.
The house fit out group of 8 perfectly and kept everyone entertained while we weren't out hiking.
The home is a great place to stay. The access to Big PowderHorn for skiing was easy and convenient. The Mrs. Pac-man game was a favorite with the kids. We had 3 families with kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. We can't wait to stay here again.
A week was not enough at this beautiful vacation home. I had family in from California and lower Michigan for our first vacation home rental experience. This was a great choice. The home itself is amazing and the owners were a delight to deal with. There were high fives all around when we arrived and the entire stay continued to be a big hit. The waterfalls in the area are breathtaking and we had alot of fun fishing with our 3&6 year old grandkids from the dock at Sunday Lake catching small panfish and "turtles. Unfortunately a week is too short to see all that nature affords in the area so we will be coming back again for another family trip. We aren't skiers but this has to be a destination for those who want to enjoy the Big Powerhorn slopes.
We stayed for seven nights at the Chandalet in Bessemer, Michigan for 7 nights. There were two families (four adults & five children ages 3 to 12). The house is beautiful (decorated for winter activities and lovers of Christmas - so are we!) House was extremely accommodating and the owners were extremely courteous with checking in on our stay! Plenty of space and activities to do in the house! We enjoyed exploring the area, but loved coming back for our meals and family time at the Chandalet. We hope to come back again soon! Thank you!
House was great for 3 dads and our 7 boys. Pool, Hot tub, fooseball and especially Ms. PACMAN were a big hit along with card games at the large kitchen table with a great view. Skiing was OK considering the warm winter we had. Hit Spirit MTN in Duluth on a 50 deg sunny day on the way to the house as they just had 12 " of snow. Tuesday we did Powderhorn. Bummer we could not ski from house due to all the closed runs. Open hills were icy on a much cooler day. Final day we hit Indianhead for much better snow and grooming (sun and less wind helped also). All in all a great 3 days. Had we just stayed in a hotel I think it would have been MUCH less enjoyable. I want to come back when there is more snow.
