Mammoth has so much to offer in the summer, when snow melts away to reveal awesome biking and hiking trails, Devil's Postpile Monument, 101-foot Rainbow Falls, and fishing at nearby lakes and streams. Not enough excitement? Mammoth is also the launchpad and home base for your adventures in YOSEMITE, one of the most beautiful National Parks in the United States! The eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park at Tioga Pass (Hwy 120) is an easy 30-minute drive north of Mammoth on Highway 395.

Our condo situated at the base of the mountain RIGHT NEXT to Canyon Lodge and 110 yards from chair 17. Canyon Lodge is a full-service, world class ski lodge which offers ski and snowboard school, rental equipment, locker rentals, and full dining service, and free gondola rides to the Village. Your car will be pampered while it's parked inside our warm and dry underground garage. No more digging out your car from under the snow! Once you're here, you won't need to use your car at all.

Our beautiful condo is an upgraded 2 bedroom, 2 bath center-end unit on the second floor with an open floor plan that offers mountain views from every room in the house. The condo is a spacious 1250 sq feet divided into 2 levels, perfect when traveling with kids or multiple families.

LIVING ROOM AREA

The living room has a large corner sofa that folds out into a queen bed, a 60" Sony flat screen "Smart TV", sound bar and DVD/Blu-Ray player. Cable, WiFi and NETFLIX is provided FREE of charge for our guests! Relax on the large comfy sofa and sip hot chocolate in front of a cozy thermostat-controlled gas fireplace and watch your favorite show/movie/NETFLIX program. The sofa faces the large balcony door which showcases the view of the beautiful mountain and pine and lets in cool mountain air in the summer.

KITCHEN AREA

Bring out the Chef in you! Our kitchen has been remodeled with soft-closing cabinets, granite counters and fixtures. It is fully equipped with large and small appliances, including 2 Crock-pots (5 qt. and 7 qt.) and a 10 cup rice cooker, toaster, blender, coffee grinder and coffee maker, and Brita filter. Serve wonderful meals at the 6-seat dining area, or have a quick bite at the breakfast area on 4 swivel stools. Our cabinets are well stocked with spices and other essentials for cooking, and many sizes of pots/pans/baking pans and baking sheets, to help ensure that your family will be warm and well-nourished and ready for the day's adventure.

MASTER SUITE

Downstairs master suite has a king bed, double dresser, 32 inch flat screen TV, and 2 mirrored closets. Master bedroom also has large windows that show views of the mountains and pine trees from your bed. Master bath has granite sink counters, upgraded fixtures and a separate shower area.

UPSTAIRS BEDROOM

Upstairs bedroom is actually AN ENTIRE UPSTAIRS AREA and comprises of a queen bed and (2) sets of bunk beds, a large gaming/sitting area with a 46 inch flat screen TV/DVD/PS3 console. Upstairs also has a full bathroom and an additional separate vanity outside, ideal for multiple guests getting ready at the same time.

VIEWS OF THE MOUNTAINS

No courtyard, street or pool views here! Our beautiful condo faces the mountains, and offers one of the best views in the complex. The panoramic view of the mountains, chairlifts and ski slope from the balcony, family room and windows of both bedrooms allows guests to always feel like they're part of the skiing fun, even when lounging by the fireplace inside!

COMMON AREAS FOR OUR GUESTS

The complex offers 2 LARGE JACUZZI spas to help guests unwind after a long day playing outdoors. In the summer, there is a heated pool and 2 BBQ's available (BBQ utensils are provided in the condo) as well as picnic tables to enjoy meals with friends and family. Guests are also welcomed to use our recreation room which has a dry sauna, comfy leather couches, pool table, flat screen TV kitchen, and bathrooms.

Laundry facilities are available in every building (laundry detergent are provided in the unit). Please bring quarters to operate washer and dryer.

In the garage, there is a ski locker to store skis and snowboards, and a bike room to store bikes. The bike room also has a waxing table to wax your skis and boards. We also provide 4 sleds in the unit for our guests’ use for downhill adventures.

Our condo is privately owned and operated. Check in is 4 PM, check out is 10 AM.

Guest must be 21 or over to rent, and must be one of the occupants. Maximum occupancy is six (6) people. Absolutely NO SMOKING in the property or on the complex. SORRY NO PETS ALLOWED. Our condo is on the 2nd floor level, accessible by stairs only, so please plan accordingly. There is no elevator in the building.

We have been happily married for 20 years, with 3 great, rambunctious kids. We travel everywhere together, and have created many many wonderful memories. We have a very special love for Mammoth Lakes, and want our kids to grow up knowing they can always come home to the mountains to unwind and reconnect back to nature, and to what's real. We love to provide this retreat for our guests, to be a part of their fond memories at Mammoth Lakes. As hosts, we make every effort to provide our guests with a relaxing and stress-free vacation that they will remember forever.

Why Tina Le chose Mammoth Mountain

We have been looking for a vacation home for a few years, and when we came to Mammoth, our search was over. We fell in love with Mammoth after only one ski trip. Mammoth is so easy to travel to, the weather is always near perfect, the town is small enough to be friendly and personal, but large enough to have a major supermarket (VONS), a bakery, various shopping areas, movie theater, a variety of restaurants and yearly activities for all ages.

What makes this condo unique

This condo offered everything that we wished for... it is close enough to the lifts to walk with our skis and come home for lunch and to relax (a huge factor when traveling with small kids!). It is large and bright, and roomy enough so that everyone has their own space. The huge loft upstairs with the Playstation is a heaven sent for kids (and for parents wanting to unwind downstairs!) Finally.. THE VIEW!! While my husband and my kids love to ski, there are many days that I would just rather lounge at home with a book by the fireplace. This condo has a good view of the mountains and slopes, and you can even see skiers lining up and going downhill from the family room balcony. This view alone sealed the deal for our condo, because it lets me feel that even when I'm indoors, I can still people watch and be part of the skiing fun.

The condo is so close to everything. It is directly across (a stone's throw) from Austria Hof Restaurant and Bar, featuring delicious German and American Food (4* YELP rating). Walk to Canyon Lodge to catch the FREE Gondola to The Village (winter), or catch the FREE shuttle pick-up across the street which takes you all over Mammoth.

While Mammoth is famous for it's winter skiing, summertime is just as awesome when our family bring up our bikes and explore the biking trails with its lakes and streams. I also love the fact that we can take a one or 2 day trip to Yosemite National Park, one of the world's most beautiful parks. The eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park (Tioga Pass Hwy 120) is just 45 minutes north of Mammoth Lakes, allowing us to enjoy both Mammoth Lakes as well as Yosemite National Park without much effort!

Just last Fall, we came to see Mammoth Lakes to see its the gorgeous display of colors on changing leaves. It was spectacular! Imagine that we can see such beauty without having to travel to the East Coast!

Notes:
The condo is steps away from Canyon Lodge, where you can catch a heated ride (for FREE) to the Village (runs in winter). The complex is also directly across from the Shuttle stop, where it takes you all over town. The complex is directly across from Austria Hof Restaurant (YELP 4 star rating) which offers upscale contemporary American and German fare, complete with a full bar. There is a VONS supermarket, Schatt's Bakery and a variety of coffee shops and restaurants in town.

The condo is in a great location, very close to Canyon Lodge. The parking is underground and you can get into the condo without having to go outside. That was nice. Very comfortable and nice.

Beautiful updated condo walking distance to Canyon Lodge with huge upstairs bedroom and not one but two jacuzzis on premises!! Owners are extremely helpful and wonderful to work with. We will definitely be back again!!

Winter Wonderland

Took the family up to Mammoth for the first time in ages. Location was easy to find with well marked sign even with the snow piled up 10 ft up. Easy walk to Canyon Lodge. We ended up driving since kids skied on weekdays and not too many people were there. We caught two great days and two snowy days. The scene out of the bedroom and living room windows is one of picturesque winter wonderland. The drive up to the Main lodge only took around 10 minutes. Austria Hof was across the street but we ended up driving into town to eat at the more local eateries. Avoid the village gondola in the afternoon around 4-5pm... skiiers getting off the slopes makes the line long. Kids enjoyed having their own space upstairs in the loft while the wife and I had our peace and quiet downstairs in the King Master Bedroom. They loved the selection of PS3 games available and I enjoyed having Netflix to watch after a day in the snow. The owner is very responsive and very helpful. She answered all my questions promptly and informed me of the extended weeks at Canyon Lodge which helped make our stay at Mammoth even more enjoyable. This being an upstairs unit, we had no noise issues from any neighbors. Also, the view is much better since the downstairs units have a view of the snow pile while we can look over it. Kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to enjoy a couple meals at home. The wall heater can be a bit loud but after the first night, I blocked it out. The stairs getting up to the 2nd floor unit can be a chore if you have lots of stuff. We prepared by getting a dolly that can go up stairs. It did the trick and saved my creeky knees. Laundry cost $2 for wash and $.50 for drying. Have some change handy or you can try your luck with the management office which I don't know how late they are open til. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the community recreational stuff since it was really cold and snowing and access to the recreational room was outside. Last bit on this great condo is that it's location is really good, a short drive on Lake Mary Rd takes you to the Twin Lakes and Tamarack Lodge, where we enjoyed the breathtaking view of the frozen lake and snow drift covered bridge. Made for a really good picture! Thanks Tina for sharing your wonderful condo with us. We hope to be back again.
