This property belongs to my parents, my sister and I. We are so glad to own this unique gem and to enjoy it as much as possible.

What makes this condo unique

We immediately fell in love with this condo. The view from the condo terrace is incomparable. You can literally hear the sound of the waves from every room in the condo. The condo itself has nice finishes. The hill on the north side protects it from the afternoon sun so that it is very comfortable to sit down and relax. It is also nice to just take the elevator and get direct beach access. The pool and Club House are nice too.

We just returned from a month long vacation in San Juan Del Sur, we spent the month of January 2018. This property was perfect, an amazing location with an awesome view.

The property had mostly everything you needed. We wished there were beach towels, the towels we were supposed to use were all white, so not ones we felt comfortable using on the beach.

It was quite windy while we were there so there was a lot of sand to sweep up off the deck and we left the windows open to get a nice breeze in the condo, but that also meant lots of sand inside. Maybe it was just the time of year as to why it was so windy. It was nice to open the windows so it cut back on how much we used the air conditioner, we hardly used it at all.

All in all it was a great experience and we really enjoyed this property. The owners were great to deal with. We would recommend this property for others who are wanting to vacation in San Juan Del Sur.

Loved our stay

We recently enjoyed a family vacation at La Talanguera. We traveled with four adults and a teenager and there was plenty of space for all. The condo was very clean and the owners provided plenty of towels, sheets, dishes, and seating. The view from the balcony was beautiful and when the windows are left open you could clearly hear the crashing of the ocean waves.

La Talanguera is close (walkable) to the shops, tourist spots, and restaurants in San Juan Del Sur.

Pool area was great and entire facility is secured 24/7.

Spectacular view in the condo of your dreams!

We thoroughly enjoyed our six week holiday at La Talanguera in San Juan del Sur. This beautiful condo was exactly as the pictures promised. The huge infinity pool and beautifully kept grounds were comparable to the finest resorts in the Caribbean and maintained daily inside and out by on site staff. Although we felt completely safe wherever we ventured, the security staff at La Talanguera were exceptional and on duty twenty four hours a day. They were friendly and helpful but very professional and took their responsibilities seriously whether they were stationed at the security gates or the beach entrance. The condo itself was sufficiently equipped to meet our needs. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Ceiling fans in every room provided additional cooling when needed but the winds that blow constantly in Nicaragua along with the sounds of the ocean were constant and welcome by opening the many windows and doors in each room. We didn't need the air conditioners at all. The view from the oversized balcony was a photographers dream especially at sunrise. The short walk into San Juan del Sur along the beach led us to some of the most amazing restaurants and the best food we have ever experienced. It was refreshing to meet so many fellow Canadians in and around La Talanguera. As our Spanish was very limited, it would have been helpful if the person who met us at the condo spoke some English in order to explain how things worked and to set up housekeeping arrangements. There was a booklet left for us but it was only written in Spanish. La Talanguera is a place we will definitely consider returning to!

The condo is located in the private residential area of the bay, walking distance to the town. In San Juan you can enjoy many things, such as relaxing, swimming, going shopping in town or having a nice dinner in town. You can go to nearby beaches for surfing or turtle watching. Or you can decide to climb the Pacific Marlin hill to visit the Christ of Mercy Statue, a landmark in San Juan. In tow, you can find supermarkets, small shops, restaurants, church, medical services and even nightlife.

If you decide to stay and are arriving late, I recommend that you let us know if you would like to opt for a groceries package upon your arrival.

Electric bill is charged separately for rentals greater than 5 days, based on actual consumption at a rate of $0.50/kwh.
