This beautiful, new home is nestled on four large city lots in between Glacier National Park and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. The home features a large open floor plan with a beautiful extra-large island for hanging out with family and friends while cooking after a great powder day. The master bathroom has a beautiful tiled walk in shower and a comfortable bathtub great for soaking sore muscles after a long day of hiking or skiing. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The guest bedroom #1 has a queen bed and a futon, sleeping 3. The guest bedroom #2 has a queen bed as well as a nice twin mattress available to set up, sleeping 3.
Outside the tall sliding glass door is a 600 square foot patio, great for hanging out and admiring the alpine glow in the evenings or enjoying a barbecue.
The large front yard is great for playing in the snow, building snow men, making snow angels, or just for kids to run around. If you are looking for a day off from skiing or a great thing to do after dark, our family loves driving to hole #14 on Meadowlake golf course. This is the best sledding hill in the valley yet remains a local secret and we rarely see anyone there.
In addition to being located in the middle of so many outdoor activities, one of our favorite attributes to our location is its proximity to great restaurants and groceries. All of the following are two to four blocks away: Gunsight Bar Restaurant, Three Forks Bar and Grill, Montana Coffee Traders, Base Camp Cafe, North Fork Pizza, Backslope Brewery & Restaurant, O'Dell's Liqueur and gifts, and Smith's Grocery Store. Just a short 5 minute drive will take you to the Restaurant at Meadowlake Resort.
