Creola V. Loyd purchased this condo in 2002
Always wanted to go 'home' and own a place to vacation. Bought first condo in 1999; and, followed by this one in 2002. Love the winters when the blizzards come; and, summer when the area is 10 to 20 degrees cooler than where I live. Love the streams, rivers and walking in the mountains.
When I walked down the hallway of the first one and saw the western view, it was sold. Almost could not contain my pleasure at seeing my first sunset from the balcony (later deck was added).

Owner responded immediately to minor linen problem. We will definitely use this unit on our next trip.
Outdated unit but clean and comfortable. Owner very good to deal with. Overall good experience. Shuttle picks u up right out front so no worries about walking and no stairs to the unit
6 of us stayed for a weekend in March. The owner of the condo was great, she answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. The condo was very outdated but clean and all appliances worked great. The pictures listed of the condo though are not of this actual condo, the condo we stayed in was very similar but not the exact one in the pictures. Wifi was very hard to get access to but wasn't an issue really because that wasn't what we were actually there for! The village was very close and a very short walk away. I would stay at this condo again. But would recommend pictures of the actual condo to be listed and for it to be updated .
Great value for an amazing view. Only downside was not being able to access the wifi, but this was not really an issue since we spent all of our time on the slopes. Look forward to staying here in the future.
You may ride historical train at Cass and also board train ride from Durbin to Elkins and ride the rails along the Greenbrier River. Walk/hike the Greenbrier River Trail from numerous starting places within short drive of Snowshoe. These are summer activities and well worth a stay on the mountain where the cool breezes calm the tattered nerves of living in hot urban areas during the summer. I know, I have allowed stress to drain from me while I enjoyed mountain ventures. Some lovely little villages within an hour of the condo also. Helvitia is one of them. Swiss settled it very long ago. Wonderful restaurant serves German/Swiss food, yum, yum. Worth the trip also.
