Perfect for two couples or a group of friends traveling together, this home features a comfortable living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a cozy office area, laundry room, two bedrooms, and two full baths. Best of all, this home features a classic French Quarter balcony on which to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail!

One of the best reasons to visit New Orleans is its walk-ability to historic attractions, entertainment, and the best food in the world. Walk out the front door of this FQ home and find yourself only 2 blocks from Bourbon Street, 5 blocks from the Riverfront, and only steps away from popular restaurants, live music, shopping, and a streetcar stop. Coming to town for the big game? No need to worry about driving or parking -- you're close enough to walk (only 9 blocks) to the Superdome!

This 1,400 square foot condo comprises the second and third floors of an original Creole townhouse built in 1832 featuring many original architectural highlights such as 14-foot ceilings, exposed brick interior walls, a winding staircase, and the original wrap-around balcony (accessible only from this unit). More modern amenities include:

- Hi-speed internet

- 55” flat screen TV in living room + cable

- Large flat screen TV in each bedroom

- Plenty of high-quality linens, towels, blankets, and pillows to keep you comfortable

- Central heat and air

- Ceiling fans in living room and both bedrooms

- Electric heater in fireplace

- King-sized sleigh bed in first bedroom, a full-sized bed in the second bedroom

- Dining seating for 4

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee maker, full set of dishes and silverware, pots and pans, mixer, and bar utensils and glassware. A full-service grocery store and deli (Rouse’s) is only 5 easy-to-walk blocks away, or you can shop for food, beverages, and sundries at Walgreen’s (2 blocks) or any of several small convenience stores within a few blocks inside the French Quarter. You’ll also find a washer and dryer in the condo along with basic laundry supplies.

If you must bring your vehicle, there are several convenient parking options on the same block or across the street (rates vary), with a 10-minute loading/unloading zone right across the street.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

Several days prior to your stay, we will follow-up with you to coordinate your arrival. In addition, we will greet you when you arrive to go over everything, and make sure you are settled and comfortable.

Check-in time is 4:00 pm, check-out time is 11:00 am. We are happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out when available.

ACCESSIBILITY

While primary access to this historic home is at street level, guests must walk up to the second floor (main level of home) and to the third floor to the bedrooms. There are no elevators.

GUEST POLICY

All guests must be registered. No additional overnight guests or parties permitted. Mature guests traveling without small children will find this property most comfortable.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES

About Bruce and Carla

Though neither of us were born in the South, we got here as soon as we could! New Orleans has been our home since 2010, when we moved here to retire and be nearer to two of our children who attended local universities. The French Quarter was our home until recently when we decided to move into a larger home to better accommodate our visiting grandchildren. We loved our French Quarter home, and know that you will too! We're still close by, though, and happy to make a recommendation or lend a hand if you need anything.

You won't find a property any more conveniently located to the SuperDome, the streetcar line, Bourbon Street, or great restaurants and live music venues that brings you the rich, historical flavor of the French Quarter.

We found the space comfortable, charming, and warm. It had everything we could want for a great week in the Quarter. The furnishings were lovely and the amenities covered everything we needed. We had plans for another couple to join us and it would have been a great fit with the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, but when they were forced to cancel their trip at the last minute my husband and I found ourselves in the perfect romantic setting. In the morning we sat on the balcony having our coffee and in the evening after a long day of touring we rested comfortably in the living room. The guest bath is a little narrow but the shower was over-sized and easily accommodated two. For families or groups of friends, the space offers lots of options and can sleep 4 comfortably. The location is PERFECT. Right in the French Quarter, but just on the edge so it was quiet even on the rowdiest of evenings. Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. There was also convenient, protected parking and easy access to the interstate for when we wanted to drive out and see some plantations west of the city. There wasn't enough time to do everything so we will definitely be back. We have told everyone we know about this place, so I'm confident it will book up fast. Putting in our reservation for later this year for a girl's weekend with my sisters. Enjoy this hidden treasure, you won't be sorry!

Outstanding Condo In The French Quarter

Wonderful 2 floor 2 bedroom 2 bath condo in the residential area of the Quarter. Beautifully decorated and maintained with a large balcony for watching the world go by while you enjoy NOLA. We've stayed here twice in 12 months and loved it!!!

Don't look any further! Amazing place

What a great place. Beautiful home, that is in great condition. Location was perfect for us. Just a couple blocks from Bourbon street and walking distance to everything. For the cost you will not get a better deal. If you are wanting the charm of New Orleans, this is a must rent place. Didn't have a single issue during our stay!

Lovely place for a friends' reunion.

Carla was so nice to give us good ideas for places to dine and enjoy music. They have everything thought out so well and all our needs were more than met. Such a pretty place. It was perfect for sitting around visiting and catching up with old friends before and after fun days enjoyed together in the French Quarter and beyond. Totally a great place for our reunion visit!

The best place to stay in New Orleans

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time in the French quarters. Condo was walking distance from the quarters and the condo was fantastic. Super clean, warm and welcoming and the bed was super cozy with delicious sheets. Bruce the owner was super nice, friendly with many recommendations on where to eat and places to go.. he even picked me up at the airport. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Bruce

Nicest Place in the French Quarter

Bruce has a lovely place with great living space and comfortable bedrooms. Loved the historic feel with the modern touches. Really felt like we had a house in the Quarter for five nights. Balcony was sweet, and had a nice location above a cool sports bar. Also it was close enough to walk to the Convention Center.

Laissez les bon temps rouler!

I don't even know where to start. Communication with Bruce before we arrived was excellent, he's very quick to respond and makes the reservation process very simple. Bruce picked us up at the airport for the same fare we would have paid a taxi but with a much better vehicle and certainly far better company. And he's full of information about a city he clearly loves.

The condo is amazing. It's two stories located above a nice neighborhood bar just a few blocks from the action of Bourbon Street. Also a quick walk to the streetcar to head over to the Garden District. The condo is very large and furnished beautifully, all the comforts of home. There were 4 of us there for a Girls Weekend. Plenty of space with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Oh and the balcony! It wraps around two side of the condo and it such a great place to sit and enjoy a drink. The first thing I asked when he showed us the balcony was if he needed me to water the beautiful ferns and flowers while we were there, but Bruce had that all under control too with an irrigation system.

I would HIGHLY recommend staying here and if you don't already know what you want to do when you arrive, Bruce has a lot of great suggestions. We will be back for next years Girls Weekend, no doubt about it. Thanks Bruce!
