Convenient location in the heart of Trapani’s port district
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is conveniently located for walking to restaurants, the harbor and other points of interest in Trapani’s port district. Giovanni, our host, promptly responded to all our needs, assisted with transportation to the airport upon our departure and was knowledgeable in answering questions we had about different locations in the city when we checked in. The apartment was clean and well stocked including a washing machine. The apartment is in a building with adequate security. There is an open air market a few blocks away open daily where your can purchase cheese, meat, fresh fish and vegetables. We took advantage of the opportunity to cook some of our own meals. There are also grocery stores within walking distance as well as banks, pharmacies and ATM’s. We enjoyed sitting on the balconies and watching folks out on their evening walks.
Very central flat
This attractive small flat is right in the tourist centre of Trapani, which means that there aren't many food shops nearby, but then there's only a microwave, so you won't be doing much serious cooking. It was surprisingly quiet: even the clock tower stopped chiming at 8pm. Like nearly all flats and hotels in Italy, it has inadequate lighting, especially for older people whose eyesight is less than perfect. Giovanni, the owner, was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, even carrying our heavy luggage up the rather narrow staircase. We recommend this flat to anyone who wants to be in the centre of things in Trapani.
Cute, well stocked, and great nightlife
We loved this spartment. We payed for parking (.80 hr) nearby at Piazza San Agostino no problem. We took a great boat day trip with the Gullet from the travel office across the street (pedestrian only) from the bedroom window. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, good wifi and a/c. We also used the washing machine. We went to Segeste--beautiful and awesome and Erice which is amazing. You can even take the funicular up to Erice just for dinner or go snd spend the day exploring old lanes snd churches and the breathtaking views. Also we went to Siaggio del Capo and it was a lovely sand beach with shalliw water. Loved it. Trapani is so alive at night with street musicians and people out walking and talking and eating at the restaurants and bars. A couple doors down is a jazz club. Right out front we watched the Eurocup at a Cafe. This pkace is great.
Awesome stay in a heart of the city
Cozy, comfortable and sweet apartment in a very heart of the city; at the foot of The City Hall. Welcome and attentive apartment owner – local specialties for breakfast was just adorable :). Spent perfect time there! Thank you!
Centrally located light and airy apartment
The photographs on this site are completely accurate. We chose this apartment because of it central location and traditionally decorated interiors, (we've seen enough bland hotel rooms to last a lifetime,) and our expectations were completely satisfied. Its a second floor spacious apartment with plenty of windows and 4 balconies, overlooking the beautiful historical pedestrian centre of Trapani, opposite the clock tower. We had a small kitchen which Giovanni had adequately stocked for us so we didn't need to shop around for washing up liquid, tea towels and coffee and milk etc. We never ate in and just made coffees and teas here as there are plenty of places to eat in the town. We had everything we needed - including extra blankets when the weather got a bit chilly, it was February after all. We even had a few English channels on the TV when the rain came down one night. Recommended! Gracious welcome from Giovanni - thank you.
geweldig midden in Trapani
Sfeervol, uniek appartement.
The historic center of Trapani is the ideal base for an active holiday. From here you can organize every day a different excursion. In the area is very easy to rent a bike, car or scooter. We also find the bus stops, taxis and airport shuttles for which it is very easy to reach the main attractions of the province such as Erice, San Vito Lo Capo, Segesta, Mozia (Mothia) and the beautiful Egadi Islands.
