Main floor of modern, open, & recently renovated home.

Located minutes from downtown Fernie in the Ridgemont Subdivision and backing directly onto the extensive Ridgemont Trail Network for four season adventure.

Master Bedroom has a full ensuite with romantic free standing tub and steam shower leading to an attached solarium.

The kitchen has all mod cons, granite tops, and large island for entertaining. The refrigerator and pantry are stocked and the policy is simply replace what is used with items of equal value and dispose of perishable items.

The unique custom dining table seats up to 10 comfortably.

The living area has huge leather couches and includes 60' TV, cable, Netflix, Broadband WiFi, Sonos sound system.

There is access to a common area with a washer/dryer, microwave, and freezer which are shared with the long term tenants of the lower floor.

The home also has many green building features such as Solar Domestic Water Heating, Drain Water Heat Recovery, Triple Glazed Windows, Passive Solar Attached Greenhouse, SunTubes, Airtight Construction Details, and may serve to inspire those considering building a home in Fernie.

The property is the owner's primary residence so may not be available at all times, some personal items remain in the home.

Preference is given to longer stays. Accordingly, there is a 5 night minimum stay for bookings greater than 6 weeks in advance, and a 3 night minimum stay for bookings greater than 2 weeks in advance. Last minute bookings (less than 2 weeks in advance) have no minimum stay.

Long term bookings (exceeding 30 days) are only considered outside of peak seasons.

All rates are as listed in the rates section and non-negotiable. Any inquiry requesting otherwise will be promptly declined.

Fantastic mountain getaway

This was out first time to Fernie and what a wonderful condo to stay in. The accommodations are very clean, modern and spacious. The kitchen is state of the art, with a lot of great features, such as a nice espresso maker and a great stove top. Very close to town (short 5-10 minute walk doable even in winter!), yet off the beaten track. They views from the living room and the terrace are incredible. Great location for a ski vacation, just a short drive to the mountain base. Steam shower was a great touch after a day of skiing, too. Darren is a great host, extremely helpful and quick to answer any question before your arrival and during your stay. We had an amazing time! Highly recommend.

Great location and beautiful space

We loved staying at Darren's place. Quick walk to town and backs onto the ridgemont trail network for biking or going for walks. The house is great. Extremely well appointed kitchen which we all appreciated since we cooked a lot. The space is modern and bright and a great space to relax after a day on the bikes. Thanks so much Darren we will be back!

Beautiful Place, Beautiful View

We had a great stay at Darren's place and would recommend it to anyone. Highlights were the close access to trails, the views, and closeness to down town and the water park/swimming pool/bike parks. The house itself has anything you might need and is cleverly and beautifully designed, and Darren is an accommodating host.

Another great stay

This is the one of the very, very few vacation rentals over the past twenty years in which we have booked a return visit. As I said in our review last year, everything about the home (modern, tasteful furnishings) and its quiet, convenient location make it a great choice for families or a couple who want to stay at a place that's as nice (or better) than their own home. Coupled with Fernie maintaining its charm, this rental will remain top of mind for us in future getaways.
