Kiki Chidiac purchased this House in 2013

Did not meet expectations.
Beautiful location. Large house. Lacking management and expected amenities. Very disappointing considering the cost. The very first day the tv and sound system didn’t work properly. Sound system making very loud noise. The owner was not helpful. Had to disconnect sound system so we could watch tv. Only one tv in the entire house. Owner said he would send someone to fix it, but that didn’t happen. We were there 3 weeks. After the first night, we realized the ac upstairs wasn’t working and also making loud noises. It took 3 days to get someone to fix it. There should have been someone available to take care of these problems. Also, there was a power outage, there were no emergency supplies. No flashlights. Very large lanai, but only 2 old lounge chairs and one table with 4 chairs and a couple of folding chairs we found in the garage. The view was beautiful and the pool was nice, but needed more seating. Nice grill, but it was very dirty. Spent a lot of time cleaning before we could use it. The kitchen had a table with 6 chairs and a breakfast bar with no barstools. This house is supposed to sleep 11. We had only 8 and we had to keep moving chairs around so everybody had a place to sit. No toaster. I bought one, there was an old toaster oven and coffee pot that were not desirable for use. Lots of lightbulbs needed replacing. The lights on the dock were burned out. We replaced the burned out bulbs, at least 6. The house needs attention to these details. There should be an on sight manager to handle some of these problems. The last 10 days we were there, the owners said they were traveling and would not be available. At that point they gave us an email of someone we could contact but up until then the only contact we had was them, and they were dismissive. Our family enjoyed our vacation, in spite of these bothersome things. We would not go back.
Perfect winter vacation!
We couldn't have found a nicer place to stay on Marco ... really! The homeowner, Rita, was a pleasure to connect with and was always quick to respond to us right from the beginning of our booking. This home is amazing. Extremely spacious, nicely decorated, very clean and filled with everything you need to make your vacation stress-free and enjoyable. After spending a day at the beach (which was just a few minutes away by bike), we'd soak in more rays on the dock, taking in the beauty of the large tranquil waterway that encompasses the back yard. Thank you Rita for sharing your home with us. We so look forward to coming back again!
Regular Marco visitor.
House bigger and nicer than pics. Great views. Keeping a boat at house worked well. Nothing missing.
Great House for a Large Family
Thanks to Rita for a great time. The property is well-maintained with the exception of the grill which is to be replaced in the near future as per Rita. Nice to have small fishing poles for those looking to pass the time on the back dock. House was too big for 6 of us, and could comfortably accommodate 8, or more. Overall, good stay, just would say to check if the grill has been replaced if you plan to eat-in the house and not go out. Would highly recommend this home to another family traveling to the Marco area. Good array of board games/poker set as well for those family game nights.
The pictures don't illustrate how amazing the house is. Our family had an amazing vacation. We would highly recommend this house!
Perfect Spring Break Property away from the crowds
We had a perfect 9 nights at Ember Ct. The house was even better than the photos and was spacious, well appointed, and clean. Excellent living area, pool, and kitchen. Loved the exercise machine in the master bedroom, the pool and spa, and the private dock. We rented a boat and stand-up paddle boards from Southwest Florida Boat Club (good value and good service) for the week which added to the experience. It was so fun to go shelling on nearby beaches away from crowds, and run around to the north side of Marco or to Goodland for lunch by boat. The views from the house were spectacular. Watching sunrise each morning with a cup of tea and feet in the spa was a great way to start the days. Lots of dolphin and manatee spotting. Rita was very responsive when we had questions about the grill and pool temperature on the first day.
