Why Christa chose Saint Augustine

Great location with direct access to a magnificent unpopulated Ocean beach; no roads to cross and direct access via board walk or sandy path to the beach. Beautifully decorated, quiet side street, yet with numerous restaurants nearby; ca. 7 minutes away from the historic village, the zoo, lighthouse, the National Monuments 'Castillo San Marco' as well as 'the original fort 'Matanzas' in the middle of the Intracoastal waterway and more. A few more minutes to state parks and a dolphin sanctuary. The famous St. Augustine outlets are just 20 minutes away; the Town Center in Jacksonville offers a great selection of stores and more restaurants in a unique walk-outside setting. Bicyclists find many trails including ongoing beach miles.

What makes this apartment unique

Great beach getaway just steps from Saint Augustine Beach

  • 5 of 5

This is a great location at the end of the street, right by the beach access. Having such a short walk to the beach was very convenient. There are tons of great restaurants within walking or biking distance. The space works well for a couple and Christa was very attentive and accommodating.

The place seemed like what I expected at first but it seemed less private during my stay.

  • 2 of 5

1. A child opened up a shared door during my stay. It was during the morning and not how I wanted to start my day.

2. The room shares a door with the garage and most of the morning and afternoon they were working in there with power tools so not too relaxing.

3. I called the owner on my drive there and she never called me back at anytime during my stay. I didn't feel good about that either.

Owner's Response: An outdoor air-conditioning unit needed to be replaced immediately for the comfort of my guests. The unit was located near the rear of the house, but as we all know, sounds on the beach travel. There is not a shared common hallway. It must have been unlocked from the inside of the apartment, and my toddler granddaughter who was visiting for the day, accidentally entered the open door for a few seconds. (That hallway is not part of the apartment). Just to avoid future misunderstandings, I have installed a deadbolt lock. I am always available by phone; I did not receive your call.

Great few days!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for such a great place for us to get away for a few days. It was clean, neat, pretty, quiet, close to everything, and most important, just a few steps to the beach. We will be back.
