About Kent and Elaine Adams

We love Wisconsin and the area we live in. We purchased our property and have been building and adding details ever since. We moved to the area from Minneapolis in 2000. We raised our two children and have a love for the outdoors. Our life revolves around biking and skiing and enjoying the outdoors. We built our 5100 square foot timber frame home from the ground up. As a builder, it involved attention to detail along with hundreds of hours of labor. Since our children have grown up and moved away, our goal is to share our property with others as a destination get away. We hope to provide a Northwoods experience like no other property in the area.

Kent and Elaine Adams purchased this house in 1989

Our family of 16 just recently stayed at Deep Lake Lodge and our time spent there was absolutely wonderful! Kent and Elaine met us there and explained everything we needed to know and were very easy to work with. The interior of the home is immaculate and the outside property is beautiful. Absolutely Beautiful Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had 13 people stay here for a bachelor party, and this place was absolutely perfect. Everyone marveled at the beauty of the cabin and the lake. We played pool, foosball, played games, grilled, and sat around the fire pit. It was undoubtedly the best getaway location I have ever stayed at. I cannot recommend it enough.

Beautiful setting, gorgeous home! Lots of room to spread out for our group, yet still have privacy!

  • 5 of 5

Our group had a great time this weekend, even though we had rain most of Saturday. It stopped in time for all of us to get a ride around the lake on the paddle boat and see the great autumn colors reflecting off the mirror of the lake. Truly breath-taking! The house and bunk house was big enough for all our group to have individual bedrooms but still we could all eat together in one gorgeous dining room. The screened porch offered a fun, large gathering area. Thanks to the Adams for sharing their home for our experience!!

BOOK YOUR STAY NOW

  • 5 of 5

If you've come across this property and are able to book it, you have struck gold! I rented this out for a girls weekend with 12 girls and it was such an incredible cabin. They provide everything you could ever imagine. The cabin was beautiful, inside and out. There were so many available activities inside and out as well, there was never a shortage of options.

If you're at all thinking about staying at this cabin I hope reading this review helps you pull the trigger, you will be blown away, I promise!

Summer in the Northwoods

  • 5 of 5

We just finished a week long stay at the Deep Lake Lodge and had a great time. The setting was perfect and accommodations were spectacular. Our group included 15 family members and the lodge had more than enough space to fit us all in. The days were spent walking our dogs, enjoying Deep Lake, tubing on the Namekagon River, or sightseeing in Duluth. The evenings were cozy by the campfire followed by board games and euchre tournaments.

A perfect way to end the summer. Thank you, Kent and Elaine.
