Great family time in the woods, but kind of rough...

  • 4 of 5

The area is beautiful and we had a great time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As advertised, the road up to the cabin is steep and rough but we made it just fine both at night and in the rain in a small SUV. There was no supply of TP in the place, but the host brought us some in less than 24 hours following our request. Looks like the owners are preparing for some needed TLC (paint, etc.) but I would recommend this house and the location highly.

We utilized the hammocks, horseshoes, disc golf course and BBQ grill. Also enjoyed a great thunderstorm sitting out on the deck.

Lovely area...home needs a lot of love

  • 2 of 5

The location of this property is wonderful. It is a peaceful, beautiful place to relax. The property; however, is in need of some loving care. The furnishings, especially the beds leaves a lot to be desired. The place was overall clean, but things they left for you to use, like fans, etc. were filthy. I think this property is more suited for a group of students perhaps then a family.

Lovely cabin in the middle of the forest and close to hiking trails

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time in this lovely and comfortable cabin. The location of the cabin at the top of a hill and surrounded by lush forest makes this place quite special. The host was very helpful. We highly recommend this property particularly if you are looking for a place to disconnect and enjoy wonderful hiking trails.

Beautiful location

  • 4 of 5

The property was great, for some reason I did not expect it to be off grid. With that said we had plenty of power from the solar system, hot water (the shower valve was backward so my first shower was cold) Wi-Fi, and direct TV. We were also very happy that someone left salt and pepper in the cabinet since we forgot ours. The weather was perfect. The location was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you Rebecca we will be back.

Beautiful location, charming cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great experience. The cabin is far enough away from the neighboring cabins that you don't see or hear the neighbors. The cabin was clean and very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The outside deck is fantastic! We spent the majority of our time hanging out there, and around the fire pit. It's a steep walk down to the fire pit, and our little ones had a difficult time navigating the steep slope. The kids had a blast exploring the nearby forest and playing in the horse shoe pitch. We brought our camp chairs and enjoyed the fire. The unlimited supply of firewood was a fun bonus!

The drive up the mountain was really rough. I guess we didn't really think it through when we brought our little family crossover vehicle. Ideally, you should bring a truck to get up the rough, ragged road.

Overall, this was a great experience and we'd love to stay at this cabin again in the future!
