Perfect Weekend Getaway
The cottage was adorable inside and out; Very clean and serene. You feel tucked away from everything with amazing Mountain View’s, yet only a short walk from downtown. Everyone in town is very friendly and welcoming. It feels like home away from home. Robyn was very accommodating. I would definitely reccomend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice relaxing weekend away.
Home away from home
I selected Manitou Springs for the first leg of our first Colorado experience because it was close to all of the things on my "to see" list and the town looked so charming and inviting. I chose the Serenity Chalet because the reviews convinced me this was the perfect place to truly experience Manitou Springs. I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to stay here. During our time in Serenity we felt like we belonged to this neighborhood. Robyn was such a pleasure to spend time with that we looked forward to her visits when she caught us enjoying the back patio. She not only made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home, she also gave us a bit of insider scoop on the town and surrounding areas. Her tips on visiting Pike's Peak made it an experience I will never forget. Her home is beautiful and she made us feel so welcome I am sad to check out today. The neighbors even stopped by for a chat one evening. I know they must see many faces here, but everyone made us feel as if they were glad to enjoy a quiet afternoon chat with us. If you're like me and like to feel like a local when traveling, I highly recommend this listing.
The Chalet was adorable and had everything we needed for the 3 of us. But honestly, my favorite thing about the Serenity was our host. I'm off to Denver today and I leave with the certainty that Manitou will be my favorite leg of this trip. We are already planning our next trip out to visit with Robyn and (her precious pup) Hank!
Charming, spacious home within walking distance to town and great hikes
This adorable home comfortably fit my family of four. It's located on a quiet street yet close enough to walk to the downtown area as well as near several hiking trails plus not too far of a drive from the Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, and all local attractions. The owners are very kind and accommodating - they keep the property beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Manitou Springs!
We had a great time.
Robyn was so very nice and wanted to make sure we had a good visit and that any needs we had were met. Our 12 year old son is very autistic and required certain things when we travel and she was so very helpful. The cabin has everything you need and is located close to everything you need. We will most definitely stay there again if we come back to the area. Loved it!
Perfect family stay
Cute cabin! Robyn was friendly and welcoming. The kids loved the upstairs and we were very comfortable in our room. Handy washer and dryer. Movies and Netflix; no cable tv. Handy location right in Manitou Springs .
I just wanted to respond that we do not have cable but do provide Sling TV:)
The house was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was really nice to have beds for us and 3 kids. The upstairs was great for the kids - they loved it!
Walking distance (1/8 mile) to the bottom of the infamous Manitou Incline and Barr trail leading to the summit of Pikes Peak. 2 blocks to the Cog Railroad with daily trips up Pikes Peak. Garden of the Gods Park is in Manitou Springs and is a must for any visitor.
