Set on the 2nd (top) floor of a stately house from the 1890s, this nicely renovated 600 sq ft condo blends old world charm with modern conveniences. In a tranquil West End location just off Commercial street, it serves as a perfect base for a week (or more...) in Provincetown.
The bedroom features a queen bed, walk-in closet, and exit to the private (exclusive-use) roof deck (12x17 sq ft) with a view of the water. The spacious living room / kitchen has high ceilings and exposed interior beams, and skylights flood the room with sunshine. The bathroom has Italian brushed marble floors and a double-headed shower. The rooms are set in the back side of the house, away from the street. The condo also features antique wooden doors, plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, and a shared patio. For hot summer days, window air conditioners are in the living room and bedroom.
There is an assigned parking space for those not coming by ferry.

A great place for a couple to stay in Provincetown
Wayne's property is in an excellent location by the Coast Guard Station and is within walking distance of everything, even though there is parking for one car. It is a quiet area yet close to all the action. The condo is equipped with everything you need to have a great vacation. There is a large roof deck where you can have meals or relax with a cocktail. Wayne is very responsive to any questions you might have. We had a great vacation and would definitely stay there again.
An excellent condo with a wonderful location
We stayed at 4 Franklin unit 5 for two weeks. We found the condo very nicely appointed with a lovely bathroom, new appliances, nice furniture. The private deck was lovely in nice weather and the air conditioning worked well when it was hot. We loved our stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat.
There was a small problem with the grill at first and Wayne was very quick to send someone over to get it fixed. We found him to be a very helpful and responsive host.
Great West Side rental!
Rentals are always about LOCATION and AMENITIES. This rental property has a GREAT west-end location just off Commercial, behind the excellent Perry's Wines, and is close to west side restaurants (Joon!), shops and the Boatslip, but also just far enough away to feel residential. Easy biking to the Red Inn, Ptown Inn Pool and Beach, to Race Point via the Dune trails, or to the grocery on Shank Painter. The owner responded to any questions before arrival and during our stay very quickly. This upstairs back unit is bright and sunny, while the bedroom enjoys shady trees. The downstairs shared patio area is great anytime, while the private roof deck has commanding views in all directions, and is a great place for post-clubbing, early evening cocktails and snacks. Air conditioning worked great, and the new efficient washer/dryer made our visit all the better. The updated large 2-person shower was FUN! We would return anytime to this unit, when available.
Great property with an amazing owner!
The apartment is well located in the west end. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need in Ptown, including a washer and dryer. The unit was spotless when we arrived. The unit has nice upscale furnishings but is still very quaint.
The owner, Wayne, was in communication throughout the process from literally right after I booked until after I left to ensure my questions were answered to making sure I had everything I needed. He went above and beyond!
Overall, great stay in a great unit with outstanding owner interactions...and a prompt deposit refund! Thank you for everything Wayne!
Lovely top-floor rental
This is definitely one of the nicer places I've stayed at in Ptown. The bulk of the unit is a fairly spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen area -- much roomier than a lot of other 1-bed units you might find in the area. The bedroom is in a recessed space in the back (note: there is no door, just a curtain) with a large walk-in closet to store your stuff. The bathroom includes a washer/dryer and has a great shower with 2 showerheads. There's also a private roof deck which is great for an evening drink (note that there is no shade though so it can get quite hot up there on summer days). The owner was extremely accommodating and communicative, and overall we had a great trip!
Great roomy condo on the West End, great amenities
We (one couple) stayed in this property for a week, and found it to be exactly what we were looking for. In terms of space, this is one of the roomiest 1-bedroom units we've stayed in, plenty of room for 2 people (there's even a walk-in closet, nearly unheard of in PTown!) The condo met our expectations based on the description -- great amenities (washer/dryer, etc.) and furnishings. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and the property amenities (shared deck, grill, etc.) were all well kept. The location is great (walking distance to the beach and the heart of Commercial Street, yet on a quiet part of the West End). This unit is part of a single building with 6 units, but there is plenty of privacy and we never had any issues with noise. The owner was very responsive, during our selection and payment process, checked in during our stay, and very prompt in processing the refund after our departure. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend this highly to other renters!
This location is golden: in the tranquil West End near the harbor, but footsteps to lively Commercial street, a short walk to the ferry, and a quick bike ride to Herring Cove and Race Point beaches.
