The University of Arizona is a short walk. All the resources of the University are available: the fabulous libraries, the delightful Art Museum, the world class Center for Photography, newly updated Planetarium, and Pac-12 athletic competitions. The School of Music has opportunities to experience the talents of their students through the venues of Music Performance, Opera, Theater and Dance. These performances are low in price, and very high quality. The UA also has a venue for performers from around the world, presented through UA Presents at Centennial Hall, on campus.
On the other side of UA is a quirky college shopping area, with interesting stores and many restaurants.Tucson's new trolley stops in this area, and goes into Downtown Tucson.
The city of Tucson has a wonderful Art Museum, with a portion dedicated to Western Art, and another galley for pre-Colombian art. The restaurants, stores and art galleries are increasing in number and stature. There are music venues, as the Fox and Rialto theaters, and our fabulous Tucson Symphony.
Just West of Tucson is the world famous Desert Museum, Old Tucson (a reconstructed Western Movie), glorious hiking in the National Park environment in Tucson Mountains as well as East of the city in the Rincons. Sabino Canyon offers hiking as well as tram rides into the higher trails. One might even see running water.
Obviously, Tucson has many golf courses, tennis venues, and the lovely weather which encourages visitors to enjoy the sunshine and mild weather.
Beautiful home and neighborhood located near the U of A.
