Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
It was an excellent experience and I already wrote a review. One is all I do.
My husband and I enjoyed our 10 day stay over Thanksgiving 2016. This quiet location is conveniently close to the beach. The sound of the waves at night was wonderful. Thoughtful amenities- e.g. coffee filters, coffee grinder, beach towels. We will definitely plan to come back to this special property when visiting our daughter who lives in Carpinteria.
We do recommend this condo for two people - it is small but really clean and well equipped. The beach is very close, just as restaurants and shops are. The only disadvantage is that there is very little air - it was ok in November (with temperatures rising to the 80ies), but I cannot imagine what it is like in summer.
This is a great little condo. Centrally located a block from the beach and estuary. It's only 2 blocks from the great restaurants that Carp has to offer. The place is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. There are reviews about it being hot and yes when we got there it was stiffling. Although it was an unusually warm weekend. There are plenty of fans to put into the windows and if you open the loft window things will cool off quickly. The only negative this is have to say is the queen bed is VERY hard. If you like that sort of thing great, but I felt it was more like sleeping on a bench. Other than that, we had a fabulous time. We would come back for sure, but bring a pillow topper for the bed and our own pillows.
Quiet, you only hear the ocean and the Surfliner...
Condo is in very good condition.
Probably too hot during summer.
