About Wendy Callion
I grew up in the Stirling area on my parents farm so know the area very well. I am a qualified chartered accountant and now work on the family farm doing all things related with paperwork! I live next to the cottage so I am always on hand to help out my guests.
Wendy Callion purchased this Cottage in 2013
Why Wendy Callion chose Stirling
In addition to the great many things to do in and around Stirling, the location is just perfect for day trips touring Scotland. In a few hours you can be in Fort William, St Andrews, Edinburgh or Glasgow (just to name a few of many places to visit).

Beautiful property and fantastic views. Booked as a halfway point for several nights while on holiday and could've easily enjoyed more time there. Property is even better than advertised! Enjoyed touring around Stirling and would def book in again!
My grandson and I spent 4 days last week at this awesome and welcoming spot!
When we arrived in town and needed to get groceries, Wendy picked us up and brought us to this charming and perfectly maintained cottage. It was beautiful and had all the comforts of a home. Decor was superb and the view was breathtaking! You can see the Wallace Monument out the back door and the Stirling Castle out the living room window.
The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was accessible with both a tub and walk-in shower..
Wendy even baked homemade scones and left boxes of candies and staples in the refrigerator for us.
I would love to return again with my son and younger grandson in the future. Thank you Wendy and your husband for the opportunity and experience!
Just amazing the hospitality was second to none the extra little touches just topped off our stay
Mallard cottages what can I say but just perfect would highly recommend this stay to anyone who is thinking of visiting Stirling or its surrounding areas the four days we stayed were just the perfect setting it had that homely feel with a touch of class
All attractions were on out door step I would highly recommend a visit to Stirling Castle which is steeped in history and a visit to the old town. Shopping is also on the doorstep of this beautiful cottage for any supplies needed
All in all one word describes Mallard Cottage amazing
Wonderful Cottage - Fantastic accomodation - Warm Welcome
I can not express strongly enough how fantastic our stay was at Mallard Cottage. Wendy is a lovely host and once we were shown around the cottage we were left to enjoy the cosy, high tech, freshly baked scone, highly appointed cottage.
Go you will not be disappointed!
Oh and the views......
