These modern style multi-level townhomes offer the best of both worlds - convenient ski-to/ski-from access from Perfection Run, as well as easy access to the village center just across the road. Each unit is extremely comfortable and well-appointed with a gas fireplace, private hot tub and balcony and heated parking garages.

Easy strolls to Snowshoe Sams Pub, Sessions Restaurant, and the Globe Cafe and Tapas Bar. Easy one block walk across the street to the Kids Ski School in the morning.

Please note that this is a kid-friendly unit, only a maximum of 4 adults (2 couples) per reservation will be accepted.

The unit is a stacked townhome with two flights of stairs, and the bathrooms are located on the upper level.

Nice location, updated, nice property.

The townhouse was very comfortable with good amenities such as a garage with lots of room and a hot tub. All of the fixtures and appliances were nice and worked well. The ski in access was a bit awkward as it was isolated and we had to walk uphill with all of our gear to get back. Not too far though. It would have been handy to have a 1/2 bath on the main floor, but I guess the floor plan did not accommodate that. Everyone had to run upstairs to wash their hands or go to the bathroom. Again, not a big deal. The only real weird thing was all of the family pictures throughout the unit. I get that your vacation property should have personal things in it but when guest are staying, it does not feel like you are on vacation, but rather imposing on someones life. Maybe it was just us, but every wall in every room had pictures of of the owner's family which made us feel like we were staying with the in-laws and not paying thousands of dollars on a ski vacation.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review. With respect to the pictures, we only rent the unit 3 times a season, so it is a "vacation rental by owner" as we use it personally the rest of the time. For the ski in, the secret is just to ski faster :) to make it up those last 10 steps. Glad you had a good stay.

Could not ask for more

The condo was perfect for our family of six. The owners have taken care in ensuring a great stay in Big White. The location is perfect. Ski out through the parking lot of Trappers Crossing. Right across the street from the upper village. Private hot tub! We had a wonderful time and hope to be able to stay here again in the future!

Big White Trappers Crossing

This condo was perfect for our family. It is a 2 minute walk to the village and ski school . The layout is roomy and comfortable and has everything one woukd want. The owner was quick to address any questions. We would definitely try to book this unit on our next visit.

The perfect home for our family vacation!

We stayed at this unit for 4 nights as a family of 5 (my husband and I, 2 kids (toddler and baby) plus grandpa) and it was just perfect! The pictures on the website give a pretty good impression. It looks even better in reality - plus the coffee maker has been replaced by a fancy coffee machine ;-). The unit is very well equipped and of high quality - we didn't miss anything (e.g. plenty of dishes and cutlery, enough space in the laundry room to dry wet clothes and heater for ski boots, good mattress in bedroom). There were even some toys for the children, a high chair and a crib for the baby.

The whole property was very clean and well maintained. We felt comfortable right away. It's not as "cold" and impersonal as a hotel room, but it's also not too stuffed with personal items. So there's plenty of room to unpack and store things in cupboards. A big plus is the huge, heated garage with enough space for two cars. For us it was perfect to park the stroller there, so it was easy to take it out for a walk. Even with a lot of snow, it worked OK to stroll through the village. For the toddler we took a sled. We also liked the hot tub very much!

Location

You just have to cross the street and you are already in the village. So very easy to go out for dinner, groceries or grab a pizza. Same for skiing: Once you crossed the street, you can practically put your skis on.

Compared to Whistler, Big White is much smaller, more family oriented and just cozier. You can find everything you need at the grocery store, not cheap though. The ski area is also smaller than Whistler, but the snow is different - more powder, less wet. And still, there are a lot of opportunities to ski that it doesn't get boring. There was new snow when we arrived and I haven't seen anything like this before. The snow wrapped trees that look like trolls and you hardly believe there is a tree in there is just unique.

If we come back to Big White, we would definitely want to stay here again. We highly recommend it :-).
