Here is the layout of the house: The top floor features a master bedroom (king) with a private deck and open-loft office. There is a full-size futon in the office/loft. The main floor includes one bathroom and two bedrooms (4 twins OR 2 twins and 1 king). The newly remodeled kitchen opens to the dining and living room, a great space for entertaining in front of the wood-burning fireplace, eating around the dining table or playing a game of cards. The lower level has 2 bedrooms, each with 2 twins, and 1 bathroom. The large TV/gameroom, also downstairs, has a new 50 inch flatscreen and a super cozy sectional; the perfect retreat for the 'kids' in your group. The laundry room is located just off the game room.

About Elly Harder
My grandparents, Jim and Della Harder, purchased this duplex in 1971 and have been escaping hot and humid Texas summers every year since. Our family continues to gather in this home every year to enjoy the incredible Colorado sunshine and fresh mountain air! We love this amazing town, and the 'taste of Old Aspen' this duplex retains. The young and old among us cherish the incredible location of this propery; both its proximity to town and the endless opportunities to play in the Colorado Rockies. We are so thrilled to share it with other groups and families and hope you will enjoy all it has to offer, including its fun and funky 70's vibe!

Spacious and plenty of room for a large family. Quiet Aspen neighborhood.
This is our second year at the Harder House. Lots of space and room to spread out over three levels. The owners are attentive and were available throughout our week when needed. Only a short walk to town. Close to the bus stop and an easy drive to all the ski mountains.
BIG duplex in a great neighborhood!
This place is bigger than she looks! Tons of room, extremely comfortable, and walking distance to everything in Aspen!
Thank you for letting us use your home, Elly!
We stayed here when attending a wedding. The home accommodated our group of seven adults comfortably. We had a lovely visit and a few pleasant walks in the surrounding neighborhood. The place offered the conveniences we wanted in terms of kitchen needs, sitting areas, bathrooms and ample supplies. The spaciousness of the home allowed privacy also. We highly recommend this location.
Great home for a large family!
We enjoyed our stay! We had five adults and five kids - and there was plenty of room for everyone. The owner was flexible with our check in time and was available during the week if any problems arose - like a leaky dishwasher. The house had plenty of towels, sheets, and the supplies we needed for the week. The home is a 20 minute walk from downtown, five blocks from the bus to Buttermilk, Highlands, and Snowmass. Located in a quiet, peaceful setting.
Great multi-family house.
Great house in a quiet neighborhood!
So many beds! The house was super clean and had great amenities. On a beautiful and quiet street in a great neighborhood. Not directly in town but a short walk and the bus stops two blocks away! Will definitely come back!
