About Mark Stephenson
I moved to Charleston from Key West in 1987, I began buying and restoring historic homes for over 18 years. While I lived in Key west I worked in the hotel and hospitality industry learning what makes a great vacation. I have taken that experience to start Historic Smalls Alley.
Mark Stephenson purchased this Apartment in 1997
Why Mark Stephenson chose Cannonborough Elliotborough
Downtown Charleston is a wonderful place to experience life as a 'Local' with Wildflour bakery and the many hip restaurants and bars of Elliotbourgh, you can dream of making Charleston your home.

Cute and cozy
Comfortable, quaint apartment close to King St. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place. May want to switch out the lightbulbs in the bathroom as they are a tad harsh.
Very nice small apartment in a nice neighborhood close to the historic district. The only issue was
The only issue was the matress, which was lower in the middle of the bed. I would stay there again.
Only complaint list this as a three person place but couch is only a love seat.
Good Location but very overpriced
This is a very small addition flat in Charleston. The ad indicated a washer dryer, which were not there. We emailed the owner and there response was that the had them removed. No credit no other assistance. The entire unit is very small. It was clean, but in need of some minor repairs such as towel racks. Our last night there was some late partying going on in the above apartment (it is all one older home converted into several apartments so you are very close to neighbors)
If you are in your 20's wanting an expensive place to stay and party, this is for you, otherwise I do not recommend it.
