Catch of Day is a unique canal front home in Sea Isle, one of Galveston's premier communities on the West end of the island. This home has the ability to sleep a family or group of up to 6, with 2 queen sized beds and 1 double. There is a television in each of the bedrooms, as well as the living room and a stackable washer and dryer. From the spacious deck, you can enjoy picturesque views of the canal. Feel free to bring your boat because there is a place to tie it up at the home. With renting this home, you would have access to the playground and either of the 2 boat launches. Smoking only OUTSIDE with thoughtful disposal of smoking materials. Please do not throw anything into the canal! Sea Isle community pool available... ask reservation agent for details! :) Pets are welcomed, ($100/dog, 50# limit, non-aggressive breeds only). Restrictions apply.

Guests must get a pool pass from the Sea Isle Homeowner Association to use the community pool. Sea Isle Homeowner Association is only open Monday-Friday, 10am to 5pm. Guests should call

409-737-2438 to purchase a pool pass ($50.00 for 10 guests for length of reservation). NO POOL PASSES SOLD ON THE WEEKEND. If pool pass not purchased by 5pm on Friday prior to the start of the reservation, no pool access will be available.

Caught more than expected at Catch of the Day home in Sea Isle Texas

Check in via Ryson Vacation Rentals was very smooth and expedient. The home needs some work and better cleaning. Front bedroom had bed bugs in the mattress. Daughters slept on the coaches in the front living room. Rear bedroom to the left had black hairs logged in the comforter. Grossed my middle daughter out and she slept on her own blanket on top of the bed. Bedroom to the rear right had a mattress that sagged to the middle severely. Love my wife and all but caused us to sleep almost on top of each other. We had to wash all of the dishes prior to use. Most of the plates had what appeared to be butter on them. Utensils were no better and covered with sand. We only had one trash bag and one roll of paper towl in the kitchen. So had to go buy more on own. Then found out there was only one partial roll of toilet paper as well. So had to buy that also. Then at midnight on our final night the front toilet backed up. Spent an hour trying to plunge with no success. We left a message on answering machine with Ryson so they could deal with it prior to new folks checking in. Upon departure my wife shared the above with the young lady at the desk at Ryson. Wife said this person seemed not to care about the issues we faced. We have stayed all over Texas, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi with VRBO and numerous homes. This was the first experience we felt very disappointed with. Finally made me realize there are SO MANY rules in the Realtor/VRBO contracts to protect the home owners and not much for the renters. Something i will be paying much closer attention to in the future.

We do apologize for all of the inconveniences you encountered during your stay. We did inform housekeeping to ensure the dishes and utensils are properly cleaned for future guests, as well as all of the beds in the house.
