Very Clean, 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Private House Minutes From Downtown Anchorage
This very clean, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house is perfect for groups of up to 6 people. Each of the bedrooms feature either a king mattress (comfortable pillow-top), or 2 twin beds. There is an upgraded, very comfortable futon sofa in the living area that pulls out into a full mattress if needed. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house for privacy and comfort.
The full-sized kitchen includes everything you will need: silverware, dishes & coffee mugs, Kitchen Aid pots and pans for cooking, oven pans, coffee maker (coffee provided), etc. All of the appliances are clean and new. The table and bar seat 6. The full size dishwasher makes cleaning easy & convenient.
This house has a washer & dryer, with laundry detergent provided.
Private driveway for your vehicle(s) is safe and convenient.
This house has a fenced, manicured yard, perfect for children, barbecuing, or outdoor gatherings. Provided for your pleasure is a clean, propane bbq grill, perfect for enjoying our long Alaskan days.

This property has the perfect location: directly across the street from the biggest sports arena in the city (Sullivan Arena), you are within walking distance from concerts, hockey games, and many of Anchorage's marathons. A 2 minute walk connects you to one of Anchorage's most beautiful walking trails, which famously goes from one end of the city to the other. Valley of the Moon Park is just minutes away, great for children and barbecue parties. In the summertime, you are a block and a half away from one of our most popular farmer's markets for lots delicious, fresh, locally grown veggies and other local offerings.
With downtown Anchorage just a 3-5 minute drive away, you have quick and easy access to the 5th Avenue Mall, many local shops and popular restaurants, the PAC (Performing Arts Center), the Anchorage Museum, and of course, Anchorage's bustling nightlife.
There is also a Fred Meyer grocery store 5 minutes away which has everything you might need.
The Sears Mall is also 3-5 minutes away, with shopping, a great food court, and one of our favorite coffee shops, Steam Dot.
The central location of this house is perfect and convenient for anyone visiting Anchorage.

About the owner: Hello, we're Roy and Rebecca. We are both life-long Alaskans who were raised in a remote town in Bush Alaska, accessible only by plane. We moved to Anchorage in 2006 to expand our careers, and when we also found our dream house (2 minutes away from our vacation rental). We enjoy camping, hiking, biking and exploring new trails around Anchorage with our two dogs. Yoga is another a favorite pastime (okay, maybe more for Rebecca :), and Anchorage has some great yoga studios. We love both cooking and dining out, and are always visiting Anchorage's new restaurants, fun coffee shops, and farmer's markets. We travel as often as we can! We both stay busy with jobs we love, Roy is a safety specialist and Rebecca owns her own skin care business, but we always make time for fun. In our travels across the US and world, we have enjoyed the ease and comfort of staying in personally-owned vacation rentals, especially when we travel with large groups of friends and family. In 2013 we bought a cute duplex right near downtown Anchorage, and turned it into Eagle Vacation Rentals. We have had such a fun time meeting people from all over the world, and are so excited when guests get to explore our beautiful state. We hope you enjoy Alaska as much as we do.

We loved this property immediately. Our home (and Rebecca's business) is just 2 minutes away from this property, and we absolutely love this area of Anchorage! It is close to everything fun & important, and is so conveniently located...we wouldn't live anywhere else. We thought others might agree. Whether you're in the mood for fine dining, movie-watching, shopping, bar hoping, or a leisurely walk on the coastal trail, everything is about 5 minutes away.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We loved this property for many reasons: the location couldn't be better; it has two cute but very different houses that are detached from one another (more privacy); it was newly renovated yet maintained some of it's original charm; the contemporary style which gives the house that 'executive, clean, and professional' feel; the fenced yard and landscaped lawn. We also love all the windows, which allow lots of natural light in if desired. We especially love that it's a great house for having an at-home barbecue in the yard with friends or meeting up with friends for dinner only minutes away.
