Courchevel #40 is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with a one car private garage. Parking for a second car is available by permit on the complex. Located only 340 yards from Canyon Lodge this well cared for unit is walking distance to the ski lifts. Just upgraded with new paint, carpet and tile floors in the kitchen/dining rooms and both bathrooms makes this unit very comfortable. The large open first floor above the garage comprises the living and dining area and the kitchen all open to each other. The living room has two couches, vaulted ceiling, a large 55 inch flat screen smart TV and wood burning stove. Free firewood is stacked in the garage. The well equipped kitchen has modern appliances including microwave. This unit sleeps up to 6 people. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the living room has a queen size sleeper couch. Other amenities include VCR, DVD, stereo, free high speed wireless internet, and land line phone for local calls. Also a private locker at Canyon Lodge is available for this unit. Linens and cleaning are included. The Courchevel complex has an outdoor pool and BBQ area in the summer and two indoor hot tubs with coed sauna open year round. It was comfortable and clean the price was right. Just found some small very small things that needed fixing. Light switch ,,screen for off track on deck I fixed it... Our stay was better than a hotel. we would definitely rent it again. This was our first time renting VRBO. And loved the experience
The condo was comfortable. We had closed the door to the little balcony and the windows the first night and this is a mistake in August. The Condo can get really hot and there is no AC. We discovered that opening all windows and the balcony door and leaving the bedroom doors open helped a lot. It was a good deal for the price and we would stay again. The pool is quite small, but the children enjoyed it. The condo is higher up so we did have to drive to get to the village.
My wife and I were happy to stay on this place. It was quiet and comfy.
The vintage collection of movies was fun.
It was a bit hot in summer (july) and we could not really figure how to use the airconditioning system but since we are quite active it was not a big deal.
They have everything you need.
Some tips for the owner and future guest;
A washing machine would be essential add on and welcomed, but we used the coin laundry in town.
I would sugest to the owner to get a blender big enough for shakes and smooties (since we have our own we managed).
A bit more light to master bedroom would be nice too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and how easy the reservation was. It was wonderful not having to check in somewhere else, the keys and combos were right there. The place was very comfortable and spacious and clean. All the comforts of home (minus a cookie sheet to bake on). We would love to come back during ski season as it is so close to Canyon Lodge.
The only suggestion is that the lighting be changed to brighten up the bathrooms and bedrooms.
Nice location. We had a problem with the internet and the owner responded relaively quickly. We would stay there again. Suggestion to owner to place plastic cups in the unit so you can take drinks to the jacuzzi!
I stayed here with some friends for my birthday weekend and everything was great! Plenty of space and everything we needed! Great proximity to town and the village for an awesome price. It was our first time in Mammoth and this place was perfect! I do wish there would have been a welcome binder with helpful info, including local dining, but we used the internet and made it work. Thanks!
