Sonoran desert style home, very bright, ideally located in N. Phoenix. Easy access to AZ 101, AZ 51 and I 17 to explore Phoenix, Scottsdale and beyond (Flagstaff, Sedona). In a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, close to movies, dining, shopping, spas, golf courses.
This is our primary home and we pay a lot of attention to small details. We love, minimalist environments, with lots of bright light and a mix of modern and ethnic decor.
The house is 2 bedroom/2 bath plus den with approx. 1,900 sq. ft of living space and an open and bright floor plan. Includes a two car covered garage. The backyard has Sonoran Desert landscaping, with a covered terrace, grass area and private non-heated pool with deck. There is no barbecue grill. Guests will have the house for themselves and will not be sharing it. The house fits 4 people comfortably, with option for 2 more guests to stay in the sofa bed by the Den.
The master bedroom is very large and with lots of natural light. It has a king Tempurpedic bed. The master bath is open with granite shower and bath tub and a walk in closet.
The guest bedroom is smaller and has a double-sized bed and a TV with Cable Service. The guest bathroom is adjacent and recently renovated with granite shower.
The Den has a sofa bed (double size) and a 50' HDTV equipped with Cable Service and a Chromecast device from Google for Video on Demand (VOD) streaming. There is WiFi through the house.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, cooking range, oven, reverse osmosis water filter, fridge, coffee maker, blender, toaster and full set of silverware.
There is a 3rd bedroom in the house where we keep our belongings and which you will not have access.
This is a NO PETS, NO SMOKING home. We rent to adults over 30 yrs with NO KIDS as the pool is not fenced.
We also ask to respect the neighbors and keep any noise or music to acceptable limits and no loud conversations, noise or music after 10:00PM in the backyard. We love our neighbors, they love us too and plan to keep it that way!
Housecleaning service - once per week - can be included for an additional fee for guests staying one or more weeks. If you are interested, please ask.
Cashman Park is behind the house and across the street, with playgrounds, barbecue areas and a big open field to play ball. Adjacent to the park there is Public School. Have in mind that there might be kids’ activity and some noise during the day coming from the park and school.

Love to travel and explore new places, anything hi tech, and sci-fi, love to mountain bike in the outdoors and practicing Brikam Yoga. We came to Phoenix to visit family for the Thanksgiving holiday. This house was all that we needed and more! Beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, located walking distance to our family's home. The owners were so organized, responsive and nice. Could not have had a better experience!
This house is in pristine condition and I speak from VRBO experience. There is plenty of room to store your belongings, the house is open and welcoming and the back yard is a great place to relax. Having a garage with door opener is a plus. The location near Desert Ridge Marketplace is great for shopping and dining and the freeway is five minutes away. It took us 20 minutes from the airport car rental center. The owner is very nice and responds quickly. I highly recommend this property especially for anyone wanting access to North Phoenix and Scottsdale.
Our family stayed here for Mother's Day weekend and found the property spacious and beautiful. While relatives stayed at a nearby Marriott property, we felt this condo provided more space and privacy and was more reasonably priced. We enjoyed having our coffee on backyard patio and evenings were relaxing in living room and den. Beds were very comfortable. This condo is in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed walking trails where we saw bunnies and lizards. Great location close to shopping center with grocery store, restaurants and movie theatre. Would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. A great experience,
This was a great find. The owner was readily available by phone and helpful, but not overbearing. The house was beautiful, spacious and very clean. I would happily stay at this property again next time I'm in Phoenix and will definitely recommend it to others.
Very nice 2BR/2BA home in north Scottsdale, 1mile away from JW Marriott with convenient access to highways, shopping, golf, and restaurants. Great communication with the owner: professional, courteous, and timely. Home was very well kept, clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again, and would strongly recommend for anyone looking for a nice place to stay!
The home is in a quiet neighborhood, just across from the JW Marriott in Desert Ridge. We enjoyed walking and riding around Desert Ridge. The location also provided easy driving access to all of Scottsdale, Phoenix and the surrounding areas of interest. Day and overnight trips to the Grand Canyon and Sedona have a "head start" from here. The park just across the street is also a plus, although others may critique the daytime clamor.
The outside had a pool and lounging area for use in warmer months, yet sunbathing was possible during our stay. The inside boosted a large, modern kitchen with everything needed to eat in, entertain dinner guests and just relax. The master bedroom and bathroom suite contained a large walk-in closet area and a desk for PC use. The internet connection was easy and fast. A second bedroom was adequate for a short visit by our son. A large living room, with gas fireplace, and a smaller TV room provided enough comfort when not exploring the area's sites and events. We were out most days, golfing and shopping. We also took advantage of some major events, like the Phoenix Open and the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction. Note that the Phoenix/Scottsdale area has many large events throughout the year. The museums, restaurants and night spots are equal to many cities.
It's worth noting that the owners were both welcoming and informative. They provided information before, during and after our 6-week rental. They set-up weekly maid service and handled all instances of need, including an on-call maintenance man from the neighborhood.
All in all, we were very pleased with our choice of homes.
