About Judy Mick
We first started going to the island before the bridge was built, catching the ferry. We camped on the beach with a tent. We would stay for the weekend or for a week. Our children were small, and we all loved it there. I always went home renewed. My husband was in the building trade which helped us to build the house ourselves on weekends and vacations. We loved the sun and the sounds of the waves while we worked. We started renting our home through a realtor about 10 years ago, but have changed to Vrbo recently.
Judy Mick purchased this House in 1982
What makes this House unique
Since we covered half of the porch, I love sitting out there with the gentle breeze having breakfast or to sit out there and read when I come in from the sun and water. We have some beautiful sunrises and sunsets here.

Another enjoyable stay
The house is great, just right for us when we visit, and the location is convenient as a base of operations for birding. This year, there were actually birds. Enjoyed the weekend!
We loved it - relaxing vacation
Loved the house - furnished nicely - had all the amenities we needed - we had a wonderful relaxing vacation - riding bikes around the island - walking on the beach and shopping in local stores.
Will be back in the future for sure !!!
Perfect place and location! We thoroughly enjoyed it. Ms. Mick is extremely generous and kind.
Thank you for taking such good care of our home.
Perfect Beach House!
Our family spent our first ever "three-generation" family vacation together at Tranquility by the Sea and we could not have wished for a more wonderful place to stay than this beautiful beach house. The home has a light and airy feel, and the lovely pale yellow walls are warm and welcoming. We enjoyed views of the Gulf from the living room and the expansive deck. The house is a very short walk to and from the beach, and the outdoor shower, hoses, sink, and simple clothesline made for easy clean up after hours in the ocean and sand, as did the washer and dryer. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and kitchen, and the bedrooms, pull-out sofa, and bathrooms are all very nice. The kitchen is well-equipped and, just like the rest of the house, makes you feel right at home. With a location very close to great local restaurants, including an ice cream shop and donut shop, we would recommend Tranquility to others and hope to visit again in the future! Thank you so much to Judy, the wonderful owner, for making us feel at home. :)
Cozy beach house with a great view!
The place was great! Can’t beat the view, location, and price! Also, the nice chairs on the deck are fabulous addition to the house. We loved laying out there and soaking up the sun :)
So glad you had a great stay. Hope to have you again in the future.
