This 2 bedroom / 1 bath upstairs ohana unit with a large lounging deck, located at 561 A Kaneapu Place, has been completely remodeled and rebuilt from the ground up. It is new, modern and chic with contemporary design and upscale furnishings, design and fixtures. If this unit is not available, check listing #923975 for 2 BR / 2 BA that can accommodate six.

One bedroom has a king size bedroom and the second bedroom has a full size bed with a pull-out twin trundle bed.

This unit has 3 tv's , air conditioning in the bedrooms and a BBQ on the lanai. The wrap around deck with stainless steel railings allows you to sit on the lanai with high end comfortable furniture and watch the ocean / beach with comfortable breezes.

Renters will have free access to wifi and ocean equipment such as snorkel gear, beach chairs and kayaks to enjoy the Mokuluas (islands) and Flat Island off of Kailua Beach.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Full refund minus 5% (for merchant and administrative fees) if cancelled more than 60 days from scheduled arrival.

I work for my husband's construction company and have been in Hawaii for almost 3 decades. Why Louise Tower chose Kailua

Being fully remodeled from wall to wall, these homes were taken down to the bare shells and upgraded from the ground up. Everything except the exterior 4 walls and original foundation is new.

Kailua is my home and while I have bought, fixed up and sold many properties here and the outer-islands, this property appealed to me because of it's location. I got to design and remodel these homes to my liking with a modern, simplistic and contemporary flair. Needless to say, I will not be selling these homes ever.

Great property

The apartment overall was very nice, clean and well appointed. It could easily accommodate 4 adults. The location was terrific located across the road from the beach and walks and not too far to drive to the local shops for supplies. We loved the place and would definitely recommend this accommodation. Just some observations: the extra large bed in the back room took up the whole room which didn't leave much space to move around the room, whilst the bed in the front room was more for kids than adults. Providing hooks on the back of the doors in the bedrooms and the bathroom would allow for more places to hang towels etc. Providing a rack and pegs to hang out wet costumes and towels would also be recommended.

Great beachside unit

I stayed with my husband and one-year old daughter in this two-bedroom unit. It was perfect for us with the beautiful Kailua Beach steps away and Lanikai Beach a five minute walk. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. With a child that naps twice a day it was easy for us to get home quickly from the beach. The beaches were beautiful and the town of Kailua provided everything we needed. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Ideal location across the street from the beach

This is our second time staying at this beach property and we are sure to return again. By far, the greatest selling point is the location...literally steps away from Kailua Beach without the hassle of parking. We were also able to walk to breakfast and the market for quick needs. There is a Whole Foods just a few minutes away, which was very convenient since we cooked most dinners at home.

The unit is fully updated in a stylist decor. It is a bit cozy for a family of 4 since there are only 2 bedrooms and a single bath, but it is doable. The lanai is spacious, providing more living and dining space. We had our own grill, which made cooking at home a breeze. It was wonderful to dine on the lanai, listening to the ocean in the background.

Once again, anything we needed was addressed promptly by Dave and Tiffany downstairs or Louise, who was onsite at one point cleaning the front property. If you decide this unit is too small for your family, I encourage you to look at the rental property upfront. We were able to tour it this time and will consider booking it in the future. Not only is there a second bathroom, but the views from the upstairs lanai are amazing.

The beds are incredibly comfortable. When you couple that with the A/C units in each bedroom, we slept very well. There are room darkening blinds in the bedrooms as well. One thing to consider is the washer & dryer are very small (apartment sized) and they are located in the master bedroom. Plan ahead for laundry needs.

We look forward to staying at one of these properties again on a return trip to Oahu. Thank you for making your home available to guests. It has made for 2 very memorable vacations.

Fantastic location and well equipped kitchen!

The house is in fantastic location across street from Kailau beach which has nice clear ocean water. The kitchen is well equipped with all kind of spices which allow to make creative/yummy food. I only wish knives are sharper. Need more plates and dishes. Enjoyed the stay overall!

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will come again. Thank you so much for your input, without it we can't make improvements. So we have added a new knife set with a sharpener and more dishes. They seem to get broken over time, we will have to check this more often to make sure we always have enough. Mahalo!
