You cannot beat our Mid-Century Danish Modern House! It's in Sunny Palm Desert where the sun shines 350 days per year! You can walk to El Paseo, golf nearby, swim, hike, enjoy the mountain views, all while basking in mid-century Danish design!

Reserve with us and reserve with confidence - all of our Holiday Homes have short-term rental permits issued by the City of Palm Desert.

Features of the Danish Modern House

We have completely renovated our Danish Modern House. It embodies mid-century design, colors and artwork mixed with modern comforts. It is amazing! We re-tiled the whole house and casita, completely gutted and installed brand new bathrooms, installed all brand-new stainless steel professional grade appliances in the kitchen, installed a bar and gorgeous kitchen backsplash tiles, repainted the whole house, created and installed custom mid-century trellises and decorative panels, leveled the yard, installed grass sod, planted 90 yellow hibiscus plants and 10 new Palm Trees, installed professional landscape lighting throughout the front and backyards, built a natural gas fire-pit, replaced all the lighting and decorated it all in the Mid-Century Danish Modern Style. The bathrooms have white carerra marble vanity tops, Kohler fixtures and mid-century lighting. We've hard-wired 10 outdoor speakers and 4 indoor speakers so that you can listen to your favorite music when you are suntanning, swimming, enjoying a hot tub, playing pool, dining, cooking, or just relaxing by the fire-pit. Every bedroom has a large flat-screen TV, HD box, fine Egyptian cotton linens, plush pillow-top mattresses and black-out blinds. We have outdoor heated dining with infrared heaters so that even on chilly nights, you can still dine outdoors. We've also installed a California Misting System around the pool and dining area to cool the air during the hot summer months!

Our Danish Modern Home has a beautiful heated salt-water pool and spa, 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a fully-stocked kitchen, indoor dining for 10, outdoor dining for 10, plush king mattresses, fine luxury linens, plenty of towels and pool towels for everybody, 10 chaise lounges, 4 pool floats and hard-wired music throughout the inside and outside of the house.

Our Mid-Century Danish Modern House also offers free WiFi and free long-distance anywhere in the US and Canada. We have a printer and some essential office supplies available for your use as well as a small desk in case you need to catch up on a few things at the office during your vacation.


We accept reservations through VRBO on-line. In order to reserve, we require 50% of the total cost of the reservation along with receipt of a completed and signed rental agreement. We are not able to hold any reservations pending receipt of funds or the contract as our properties book up very rapidly. Please be advised that VRBO processes payments through Europe and as a result, your credit card provider may charge you an international transaction fee.


Please be advised that our Palm Desert Vacation Rentals book up rapidly and are most often booked with a guest checking out in the morning and another guest checking in that evening. Our properties take approximately 5 hours to clean, and to wash, dry iron and replace all the linens and towels. Therefore, our check-in time is 5:00 pm and our check-out time is 11:00 am. We are rarely able to offer an earlier check-in time or a later check-out time due to cleaning requirements. Therefore, if you wish to check-in prior to 5pm on the day of your arrival, the only way to do so is to book the property for the prior night (assuming the property is available on that day) and then you can check in at any time after 5pm the day prior to your arrival. Likewise, if you wish to check-out after 11am, the only way to do so is to book the property for the next day as well (assuming it's available) and then you can check-out at your leisure prior to 11am the following day.


All of our properties are subject to the rules in the Rental Contract as well as the Palm Desert Short Term Rental Rules. Accordingly, no events, disruption of the neighbors or parties of any kind are permitted at any of our Palm Desert Vacation Estates. No outside noise is permitted after 10pm. No extra persons are permitted to attend at the property other than those listed on the Rental Contract unless specific written authorization has been granted by the owners. No parking on the street; always park on the driveway. Fines of $1000-$5000 apply plus $500 administration fees for any breaches of by-laws. All fines, extra charges and administration fees will be deducted from the Damage Protection Deposit prior to issuing any refunds. We expect our renters to provide the utmost of respect to the property and to the neighbors.

Our Cancellation Policy is in essence as follows: if a guest cancels, we will refund up to 90% of the amount paid to date if we secure a replacement reservation. Given our high occupancy rates, we have provided significant refunds to the few guests who have had to cancel. Guests can also purchase separate cancellation insurance through VRBO directly. Perfect house

This was our second year in a row staying at the house, with our family of 5 (5 year old and 2.5 year old twins). Once again we had a wonderful experience playing in the pool, walking to El Paseo, and enjoying all the immentities of this house. Would recommend to anyone to this house

Excellent experience

We have been coming down to Palm Springs once or twice a year for 7 years now...and always rent a house on VRBO. This was our first stay at this house, and it is now tied for our favourite place. We shared the place with some friends, and it worked really well. Their family of 4 stayed in the Casita and our family of 5 stayed in the main house. The pool is big with a great bench / shelf for younger kids to feel comfortable in, and it was the first trip ever where we didn't have to mess around with the pool heat, etc. Everything worked and the water was warm as planned and expected, and the controls for the spa were simple.

The yard is big and the firepit area was perfect for evening drinks and listening to music.

The location is great for walking to El Paseo (just a couple blocks), and it was close and convenient to Nordstrom Rack, Whole Foods, Jensens, etc.

It was a quiet and safe area and we would defintely return to this house. The owners were very responsive during the booking / reservation process and for us, and we found the condition of the house was as advertised. It was nice showing up and meeting the property manager and having a personal touch (vs. the usual process of having a lock box and just figuring things out).

A great experience, and decent value when shared with a larger group.

The property was absolutely wonderful.

Three friends and myself rented this lovely property for a golf week. It's close to many courses and relatively close to any type of shopping you desire. From COSTCO, to Whole Foods, to designer clothes. Everything is 15-20 minutes away. I'd you're planning on visiting the Ranxho Mirage area and are seeking a wonderful property to rent, this is the place.

The property was amazing, perfect for the kids with every detail taken care of.

1 block from Paseo, perfect location. House has all the amenities and was very comfortable. All king beds in every room was a huge bonus. Back casita with two bedrooms and a bath was perfect for the kids to hang out. Sonos throughout the property was amazing feature. We will be back for sure next year.

Terms include acceptance of our Rental Contract. The Guest shall return the completed and signed rental contract to the Homeowner within 7 days of making a reservation. We require provision of government-issued ID from each member of rental party. Minimum age for all renters is 28 years unless children are travelling with parents or grandparents.Rates include $50/night utility fee. Additional fee of $25/person/night for more than 10 persons. Cleaning fee is based on use of one set of linens per bed. If additional linens are used, or if a linen change is made, an additional charge of $75/bed will apply. Excessive use of towels will also incur additional cleaning charges $5/towel. "Flat fee" includes rental fee + pool heating/utility fee, but does not include cleaning fee, damage insurance or taxes. Higher rates apply for special events and holidays. Special additional terms and contract required for Coachella and the Stagecoach Music Festival including an extra $2500 refundable damage deposit. A Coachella/Stagecoach rental contract must be signed before renting during these festivals. Over-seeding discount applies for 2 weeks each fall when the grass is scalped and seeded with winter grass. Guests are not permitted to walk on the grass areas during the over-seeding; grass appears brown for the first 5 days of over-seeding. $500 US plus tax for each umbrella broken. $500 administration fee/noise complaint or fine will be charged. Parking violations, and any citations, fines/fees and additional charges will be deducted from refundable damage protection deposit. If paying by credit card, authorize payment to "Homeaway", a UK-based parent company. No occupancy tax is payable for stays over 27 nights.
Discounts may apply for stays of 27 nights or longer; inquire with the owners. All fees, taxes and rules are subject to change at any time, even after booking, to comply with legislation, regulations, by-laws and ordinances that may affect this property.
