Our 2 bedroom 2 baths condo is steps away from chair 3 and an endless amount of fun on Whitefish Mountain Resort. The condo is nice and roomy at just over 1100 sf. With recent cozy updates, new appliances and a one car garage you will definitely feel at home. There is also an indoor hot tub onsite (available Winter only). Close to the village for entertainment and shopping. The condo is fully equipped with linens, cooking and kitchen supplies, charcoal bbq, Washer and Dryer are inside the condo also.
We bought this property because of it's access to the ski slopes, the access from the condo is really awesome. It is hard to find anything this close to skiing, boarding, mountain biking and all of the fun on Big Mountain. .
The property was well-appointed with a full kitchen and comfy furnishings. Wi-fi and Netflix were a plus; however one drawback was the lack of cable or satellite for football fans. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.
The condo was just as pictured but larger. It was the best equipped vacation home we have ever rented, and my family has been renting vacation homes for years. The condo was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and reasonsonably priced. We certainly would stay there again. Melinda does an excellent job as manager and was very responsive to our requests. The garage was a little tight but that was because we had rented a huge SUV (a Ford Expedition XL). A smaller SUV would be fine as would a car or minivan. The garage was only a minor problem though.Everything else was fine.
The location is great. We did not use the hot tub but it's nice to have one. The beds were comfortable.
We loved our stay here! Melinda, the owner, was very hospitable and helpful! She replied quickly to questions we had over email before the trip and by phone during our stay. We had plenty of room to spread out during our trip to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. The rooms are very homey, clean, and comfortable! This condo is well-stocked! Everything we could possibly want was here including a well stocked kitchen with a variety of pots and pans and utensils, and some basics in the pantry and fridge, a washer and dryer with detergent, and hair driers. We appreciated being able to save money by cooking our own breakfast and packing picnic lunches. Parking our car in the garage was another extra bonus. I would highly recommend this property for families! We would absolutely come back! If you are looking for something fun to do during your stay, we enjoyed zip-lining on Big Mountain in Whitefish and white water rafting in Glacier National Park. Our favorite restaurant in Whitefish was Caio Mambo -- the Italian cuisine was delicious and the customer service was the best we encountered in town!
I was pleasantly surprised with this roomy, well-appointed condo. We had everything we could need to make our stay an easy, enjoyable one, right down to the extra toilet paper and charcoal for the grill. Googlemaps tried to get us to the front door by way of a closed mountain access trail, but it was pretty easy to figure out where we needed to go to find this premium location; We rented in the summer, but I can see that it's a prime location for skiing. Loved that there was a garage, and the washer and dryer came in handy, complete with soap pods. It's modern yet charming, homey feel made our stay so relaxing, and it was spotless! The cleaning service does a fantastic job. I feel that this was the best possible choice for our extended family of 8 adults, as we enjoyed the lift ride to the top of Big Mountain, the Alpine slide, and a short 40 minute drive brought us into the wonders of Glacier National Park. I would definitely recommend it .
I stayed in mid-June, just after the resort had opened up for the summer. The location is about 7 miles (15 minutes) from Whitefish, up the mountain from town. There is a restaurant/coffee place in the resort, however we ended up going to town each morning.
The VRBO descriptions were accurate for the condo. The condo itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. Everything worked, nothing broken, plenty of chairs, couches, etc. The enclosed and locked garage was nice. The contact person was very helpful in getting me familiar with the Netflix setup. The kitchen had all of the pots and utensils that I needed. Be aware that the condo is on the third floor with no elevator.
The town of Whitefish is a great vacation town. It is the gateway to Glacier National Park, has access to lots of hiking trails, fishing, mountain biking at the ski resort and elsewhere, etc. The town has lots of good restaurants for both breakfast and lunch/dinner, a very helpful staff at the Chamber/Info Office, and a great independent bookstore.
I would stay here again.
