About Michael Godjikian

Drove up the Kelley Stand and knew I had to live here. So we did!

The river is just so amazing so why even leave the Road.

Michael Godjikian purchased this house in 2007

Why Michael Godjikian chose Vermont

This home was our only neighbor so when it went for sale we had to buy it. Gardening and landscaping are our passion and it makes for a beautiful show April to October. We are surrounded by hundreds of sq miles of National forest. Great for hiking, walking and just getting back to nature.

What makes this house unique

You are in the beautiful VT wilderness yet 15 minuets to Manchester for outlet shopping or Bennington to the beautiful monument and pottery.

So, some like the wilderness and the others can go shopping. Everyone is happy!

Charming, Comfortable, Clean and Convenient Country Cottage

  • 5 of 5

With over 40 years of traveling to VT, this was definitely one of the best places we have stayed in. It is off the beaten path and yet minutes from Rt 7. There was more than enough space for the two of us and the attention to detail both inside and out made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The owner, Michael, anticipated everything a short term renter might need. The added bonus of being across the street from the beautiful gardens tended by he and Tim really made this a little oasis.

So comfy and cozy

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 stayed at the cottage for 3 nights. We skied at Okemo Mtn one day and Stratton Mtn the other day. In the past we have always just stayed at local motels in Manchester but had always wanted more space to spread out. This was the perfect solution and we felt so welcomed by Michael and Tim. They made our stay very comfortable. We were given a welcome basket with some snacks and a bottle of wine and also found a dozen farm fresh eggs waiting for us in the frig. We loved the way the cottage was decorated and really felt at home, we didn't feel like we were in a rental. We would love to go back again next year, maybe even visit during a different season so we can enjoy all of the beautiful surroundings near the property.

Great cozy cabin in VT mountains

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at the cabin for NYE, and the 1st to do some skiing and for a relaxing getaway, and it was exactly that. Cabin is perfect for romantic stay for 1 or 2 couples; well appointed, maintained and nicely renovated. It feels like a home away from home, nothing like a sterile hotel room. It's located within 35 mins drive of both Stratton and Bromley ski resorts. Tim is a great host, he goes above and beyond to make sure you and yours are taken care of. Would highly recommend to anyone will likely stay again if we make it up to VT for another ski trip in the future.

Wonderful Experience

  • 5 of 5

We were very happy with this cottage and its location. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and cozy and located on a lovely property next to a beautiful river. The cottage was conveniently located and was only about a fifteen drive to Manchester and other area attractions. The owners were great to work with, and sweetly provided a gift basket upon arrival and were open to questions at anytime. We will definitely come again.
