About Michael Godjikian

Drove up the Kelley Stand and knew I had to live here. So we did!

The river is just so amazing so why even leave the Road.

Michael Godjikian purchased this house in 2007

Why Michael Godjikian chose Vermont

This home was our only neighbor so when it went for sale we had to buy it. Gardening and landscaping are our passion and it makes for a beautiful show April to October. We are surrounded by hundreds of sq miles of National forest. Great for hiking, walking and just getting back to nature.

What makes this house unique

You are in the beautiful VT wilderness yet 15 minuets to Manchester for outlet shopping or Bennington to the beautiful monument and pottery.

So, some like the wilderness and the others can go shopping. Everyone is happy!

beautiful cottage in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We spent 5 nights here over the 4th of July weekend. The cottage is perfectly equipped with everything one could imagine to prepare meals and enjoy family time together. We used herbs from the garden in our meals cooked on the charcoal grill. The fire pit is in a great spot for evening star gazing. The hosts made us feel like super-welcome guests instead of just some random people renting the cottage. They provided helpful insight into local attractions like farm stands and favorite swimming locations. If we're ever back in southern Vermont we will surely stay in the Catamount Cottage again. Thank you Michael and Tim for a wonderful vacation.

Charming Mountain Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay! The attention to detail by the owners takes this rental to a different level than most .... great sheets, stocked kitchen, crystal clean windows. MIichael is a welcoming host. He provided lists of nearby restaurants and activities along with a basket of treats that were enjoyed by all! My kids loved swimming in the stream, and I enjoyed nearby shopping. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the gardens you overlook from master bedroom are stunning. We couldn't have felt more at home during our stay in Vermont!

Fabulous!

  • 5 of 5

House and property were absolutely wonderful. We had a fabulous week and couldn't have asked for better owners. The gardens were amazing. We loved coming back to such a warm and inviting cottage after a long day of horse showing and other adventures. House is so well stocked you just need your clothes! Just perfect!

Lovely stay! Didn't want to leave!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home in a tranquil setting. Very peaceful area. Michael and Tim were wonderful hosts and offered suggestions for things to do and see in the area. Home had everything we needed and more. The kitchen had literally anything you could ever need. Fresh herbs outside the door to cook with! Beautifully decorated rooms with antique furnishings and from the upstairs bedrooms we could hear the brook at night and in the morning. The yard was beautifully landscaped and gardens were amazing. Fresh arrangement of flowers in the home as well. Can't wait to return. Close to many lakes and picnicking areas, organic farm nearby, short drive to Stratton, Manchester, Dorset.
