This unit provides two master suites. Each with a king sized bed and full bath. The first has a view of the gulf and balcony access. The second, overlooks the 13,000 square-foot pool beneath and flat screen TV.

This corner unit wrap around balcony lets you enjoy the views of pool and ocean. The living area is furnished with a flat screen TV, DVD player and sleeper sofa. The condo also provides a bunkroom area with separate door for privacy.

BUYER BEWARE

Good points: spacious, well decorated, big balcony, excellent view, good elevators, good parking. Bad points: security lock doesn't work on front door, 2nd master - no box, no TV, filthy mattress, mold in shower, 1st master - door to balcony doesn't work, sheets too small for bed, mattress filthy, no support/firmness, mold on shower curtain, bathtub and sink didn't drain. Need and exterminator, then a professional cleaning. Broken chair at bar, towels ragged/torn, no pot holders/kitchen towels. cupboards and microwave dirty, light bulbs missing, many times would lose TV, and the WIFI was a JOKE! Called manager and she told us to call the cable company! Occasionally could get on but no for very long. Needed for business - very frustrating. AMENITIES: We were told there was a daily fee for the pools and exercise room. We were NOT told that we had to pay the fee in order to get to the beach. After arriving, we were told we had to pay for the entire stay, not just for the days that we might want to use the pools or exercise room. The indoor pool was dark and the equipment in the exercise room was broke. Think twice about booking here!

Great location and view, unimpressive condo

This condo was not a great as I had expected. The shower curtains were moldy, none of the balcony lights worked, the battery in the smoke detector was bad (it beeped for two days), there were clothes left under the master bed, and sand on the comforters. The towels in the bathrooms were old. They had stains and holes. There was nail polish spilled in the master bedroom. When I attempted to contact the manager to have the lights and smoke detector repaired, I continued to get her voicemail. Two messages were left and I never received a call back. Very poor customer service. I would definitely book at this condo again, but not this particular unit. The update as mentioned in the ad consisted of an unmatching paint color. Everything else was outdated.

Great location!

This was my third stay at the Shores of Panama and my least favorite. The building changed cable providers and each unit had only one cable box. The washer in the unit didn't work during our stay. The property manager didn't offer to bring us a fresh set of towels since the washer didn't work. There were a few more issues with the maintenance of the unit but they were not deal breakers. In the future, I will be sure to ask if there are any ongoing issues I should be made aware of during my stay. I felt that both of these issues should've been disclosed to me. One would expect a cable box for all 3 televisions and an operable washer since these items were advertised with the unit.

As for the property itself, the maintenance has gone down quite a bit. Also, there are some silly rules related to the arm bands. The minimum number of days you can purchase bands for the unit is two days. The one day my 86 year old mom wanted to go to the beach, I had to walk her to an entrance around the block. We were visiting over the Thanksgiving holiday.

(10/18 - 10/24) 2016 Thunder Beach Fall Motorcycle Rally

The Condo is absolutely amazing. It was a home away from home and it makes you want to stay longer. The view is unbeatable, it is not for someone afraid of heights (16th Floor out of 23), but you get some great photos! I saw dolphins on the first day!

You have to park big motorcycle trailers beside the building or half a mile down the street, thank goodness we got here early and got next to the building, you do have your own reserved spot on the 8th floor which was nice, no hussel over spaces.

Wristbands for The pool and beach access, it's worth it! But I hope that changes! They had a DJ in the pool area for most of the weekend, and a tiki bar next to the Jacuzzi.

Rally wise:

The distance from the vendor's was not bad, the ride was enjoyable, specially when we learned the roads.

Capt. Jack's is a waste of money!

Wicked wheel was good. Texas road House was good too. Do your research, is the best I can say.

I would defiantly come back here and stay again! We have a family of four and could've had 2 more. TWO king size beds plus the bunk room! You can't beat that!

Great Condo

My wife and I are in our early 50's, kids raised and gone, so we travel a lot more now using VRBO. We vacationed here the week of September 25, 2016, which we both are convinced was the perfect time to visit! The building was only at about 20% capacity, along with the rest of PCB. All the attractions were open until the official end of the season, October 1st. Daytime temps were in the high 80's, and clear everyday except one morning when we had a brief shower. We walked into every restaurant and were directly seated, with the exception of Capt. Anderson's 45 minute wait because they were closing for the season.

When we arrived on Sunday, we discovered the unit hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests, which freaked my wife out. I immediately called the property manager, Judy, and informed her, while my wife washed the sheets off the master bedroom bed. Judy apologized profusely, and we agreed to wait until Monday to have the room cleaned because it was so late in the day on Sunday. The next day the cleaning service cleaned the room while we were at the beach, so it all worked out, and my wife had calmed down by then.

The unit itself is great, and having a corner room, with a wrap around porch, gave us great views of the Gulf and the pool. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable for both of us. All of the appliances worked, the furniture was comfortable, and just an all around nice rental. The washer and dryer are on the small side, but we just did smaller loads, mostly towels. King size beds in two master bedrooms, with twin bunk beds off of the living room, with 2 1/2 baths was way more than we needed, but knowing the unit now, we might bring the kids/grandkids back next year.

The parking deck is tight, but maneuverable when we visited. I imagine the parking space on the 8th level could be more of a challenge to get to in busier times, especially since I drive an extended cab pickup truck.

The pool is the highlight of this property. It has a poolside bar and snack hut serving burgers, hotdogs, chicken fingers, fries, etc. that were both very reasonably priced. The water is refrigerated, so it was very cold!

Our only complaint would be that the deadbolt on the entry door didn't work, and there is a window that runs down the length of the entry door that is missing a blind. Again, my wife freaked out when two kids peeked in it one night because you can see straight into the living room.

All in all, a great rental!

The condo was nicely furnished and clean. Close to everything, the check in process was quick and efficient. Parking on the 8th floor made accessing our condo a breeze, The pool was beautiful and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you
