About Lisa

We moved to the Black Hills approximately 5 years ago from Wisconsin. We had visited years back and fell in love with the area.

What makes this cabin unique

We fell in love with the 100 year old log home that is currently located on the same property. This home is also available during the tourist season. VRBO #669913

Vacation and Family Wedding

  • 4 of 5

Great quiet place and very clean. Only issue is no cell service while you are in the cabin so not easy for others to contact you if not staying together. They do have internet, but no router on location for you to access it. Other wise very greatly recommended, close to Custer for all your needs.

Great, clean, small cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and the perfect size for the two of us. It was stocked with all the necessities we needed to help make our trip enjoyable. The location was perfect. It was a quick couple minute drive to crazy horse and about a thirty minute drive to blue bell lodge for horse back riding and to the wilderness loop. We would highly recommend this place and we plan to stay here again when we come back to the black hills. Our only suggestion would be to add curtains to the windows, because it becomes very bright in the cabin at 5:30 in the morning when the sun starts to shine in; this made it difficult to sleep in. Other than that, we have no other complaints. We loved sitting outside on the chairs in the evening and watching all of the deer that would walk through the yard! The neighborhood that the cabin is located in is very calm, quiet, and peaceful with lovely views!
