About Mary Braukman

We travel often for work, which led us to rent out our home for others to enjoy its charm. When in town we often stay just down the road from the rental (next driveway on right) this allows us to respond to any issues renters may have. When we are out of town our grown son helps out with the rentals.

Mary Braukman purchased this farmhouse in 2000

Why Mary Braukman chose Yamhill

The minute you walk in the door it feels like home. This historical home was once on the path of the Tillamook stage coach through the Trask Mountains. It truly is like no other.

What makes this farmhouse unique

The views and the history of the home are really what brought us here. This home dates back to the 1880's and is documented to be the oldest known house in its area. It is well kept up and much of its remodeling has its original era.

Wonderful!

Beautiful house with everything you could need. Fully stocked kitchen, tons of games, super child friendly. Just far enough off the beaten path but not a lengthy drive to get places. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, peaceful, everything you need

  • 5 of 5

Charming is exactly the right word! We were three couples in Oregon's wine country to enjoy the countryside, taste wine and run a half-marathon--this was exactly the place we needed! We had everything we needed to cook for ourselves, we ate on the porch overlooking the valley, after the race we soaked away our sore muscles in the hottub and tumbled into comfortable beds at the end of the day. The house and each of the bedrooms has temperature control so even in the high 90s heat we slept comfortably. Mary and Bruce are very kind and hospitable hosts! We all would return without hesitation!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful views and comfortable beds. Clean, bright, and cool with a well equipped kitchen. We immediately felt at home. We had a wonderful relaxing stay for our daughter's wedding in Newberg, and we could have stayed for another week! Berries and grapes in season made a wonderful addition to our breakfasts. Loved it. Highly recommended.

Absolute fantastic!!!

  • 5 of 5

This was the best weekend visit ever! We thoroughly enjoyed the Farm House. The owners have done a beautiful job of setting the house up. From supplying laundry soap to even supplying a high chair, they have done a marvelous job of making the house feel like home!!! I can see a family going their and having Thanksgiving dinner. The view was beautiful. Everything was perfect! Our little group will go again for sure. Thank you for the hospitality. I recommend this place to anyone. We just really stayed at the house, ate, played games and socialized. Wonderful!!
