We were greeted at the gate with a warm smile to our lovely host Ana. She gave us a complete tour of the property, which was abundant with with fresh fruit trees and vegetable gardens. We fed the chickens and tasted the wine grapes. Everything was very easygoing and lovely. It was truly a wonderful break from city life.We had an in-house massage that was excellent and, set the pace for the rest of the trip. In the morning Ana prepared breakfast fresh from the garden, which was easily worth much more than the asking price. The house is only 15 minutes from Healdsburg. We will definitely visit again.
We were welcomed to the farm by the owners and felt immediately at home. The parking was great, right outside the gate. The studio, adjacent to the main home, was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy, the linens were clean. The kitchen was stocked with many items for cooking a meal, although the offer of a home-cooked meal was extended.
We were invited to walk the grounds and take in the beauty so we did! We strolled the main path and took in everything from the chickens, the honeybees, the fruit orchard, the endless beauty of the garden, the lovely gurgling fountain outside our door, and to "Bleu" the duck who patrolled the grounds and kept us company on our walk.
We enjoyed the farm-fresh produce on our table, as well as the makings for coffee and bagels for breakfast.
Although we were just a few minutes from the beautiful town of Windsor, it didn't feel like it.
My daughter and I would recommend the farm for a relaxing, comfortable stay and plan on returning some day soon.
This is a very sweet place to stay. It is comfortably appointed, modern and clean. The bathroom is quite spacious, the art is outstanding and plentiful and the owners are so kind and knowledgeable. It is a beautiful place to wake up. The fog hung around the orchard in the morning and it was such a lovely start to each day. The delicious fresh eggs were so appreciated as were the greens from the garden. I was fortunate to spend some time on the front patio soaking it all in. And I fell in love with the ducks! It is an enchanting property all around.
My boyfriend and I are so grateful for our studio hosts' generous hospitality and the farm's idyllic setting. It was the perfect home-base for exploring wine country and attending a week-long conference in Santa Rosa. The studio is well lit, stocked with all the necessities and some sweet artwork, and spacious. The bathroom is luxurious, and the kitchenette comes with lots of little extras. We got to wake up in the morning to the sound of ducks splashing happily in the fountain outside and enjoy the view across the orchard. The hosts were amazing--giving us lots of privacy while offering tips, advice, and the option of gourmet organic dinner picked fresh from the garden. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, and we hope to see you again!
