A newly refurbished apartment overlooking the River Sorgue in the lively town of L'isle sur la Sorgue. The bright and spacious second floor Loft has views towards Mont Ventoux to the North and over the ancient centre of the town to the South.
The living space is stylishly decorated with quality furnishings throughout with TV/DVD and French, English and other European channels. High speed Wi-Fi and internet phone is also provided. There is also a radio with and iPod docking station if you bring your own music. The kitchen is well equipped with a fan oven, cooking hob, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine/dryer and a Nespresso coffee machine.
Above the living space, on the open mezzanine, is a work desk area with printer. There are two single beds which due to access via a spiral staircase are unsuitable for young children.
The master bedroom has a 160cm (5.25ft) bed with pillow topped mattress and quality bedding and has views over the rooftops of the town. This bedroom has its own own en-suite shower room with WC and wash basin.
There is also a spacious separate bathroom with WC, wash basin and shower-over bath. This is ideal for couples who prefer the convenience of their individual bathroom space.
Free parking is available directly in front of the building and in the large car park a few steps away on the opposite side of the river. In a medieval town like L'isle sur la Sorgue, this is a real benefit.
My wife and I are Scottish property developers who moved to France in 2008. We have completed a number of projects in the area including the building the apartment is located in. We live just a few minutes away and are on hand to provide help and advice.

This property has the benefit of being recently renovated and is ideally located to allow access to all the towns services and attractions. There is ample parking close by if you have a car.
If you like the look and location of this apartment, but feel it is not large enough to accommodate your family or party, there is a solution. The entire building was renovated by us to the same high standard and some of the other apartments we sold upon completion are being rented out as holiday accommodation by the new owners. If you want to keep your entire group in one building I can arrange for the others to be located in one of the other apartments, this of course would depend on availability. I will not charge any commission for this service and payment would be made directly to the apartment owner.
We are so pleased that we picked this home for our stay in Provence. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our eight night stay. It was the perfect size for us and a luxury to each have our own full bathroom. We did not have need of the loft, but it was perfect for storing our luggage and was a positive addition for the look and feel of the apartment. The apartment is equipped with everything that is needed. Richard made us feel welcome, answered all our questions and checked in with us later in the week to make sure everything was perfect...and it was!
We spent four fabulous nights in this wonderful loft conversion! The loft is a very recent conversion within a refurbed block and it tastefully appointed with a completely new fit out. Everything is fresh ,new and tasteful.
The owners are lovely and Richard could not be more helpful giving complete and fullsome explanations of all the lofts assets..... dishwasher, TV satellite, TV, cooker etc. Local amenities are outlined in a file in the loft and give a comprehensive local guide.
The accommodation is superb with great showers and a bath and a very comfortable bed downstairs (didn't use upstairs bed). Upstairs (open plan) is another bed and a desk/work area with a printer (handy for printing boarding passes, maps etc). There is full and fast wifi throughout.
The location is outstanding only a minutes walk into the town center where the real buzz of Isle can be enjoyed. There is free parking right across the road just past the ancient waterwheel and the river (30 seconds walk). This is an ideal location.
I can't imagine better value for money re accommodation/location and ambiance!

We enjoyed Richard's lovely apartment in L'isle sur la Sorgue. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable, with nice furnishings and decor. The location was superb: quiet and with a view of "our own" water wheel and Mont Ventoux in the distance, but just a short walk from the center of town, restaurants, shops, and other amenities. It was quite hot when we were there, but the many windows provided a nice breeze and kept it comfortable. We didn't use the loft space, but it would have been great had our friend been able to visit. Richard was very responsive and helpful, quickly answering any questions we had. Public parking in front and just across the river was very handy.
There are almost too many activities to mention but if you have an interest or hobby not listed, or if you want more information on those that are, please get in touch and we will use our local knowledge to do research.

Our cancellation policy is that if you have to cancel, 50% of your deposit will be returned if you inform us no later than 90 days before date of arrival. If you cancel between 90 days and the date of your arrival, the entire deposit is forfeit. Refunds will be minus any bank charges we incur. Please ensure that your travel insurance covers you for such losses.
We require 50% of the total fee upon confirmation of booking with the balance and damages deposit to be paid no later than 60 days before the date of arrival. Payment is to be made to our PayPal account, details of which will be given upon booking.
