Enjoy your stay in one of the most beautiful cities in our newly renovated 3 BR, 2.5 BA home. Located in the picturesque Elliotborough district, this house is the perfect base to explore Charleston from. Close to popular local restaurants!

The Space:

You’ll feel at home right away as you step into our Wonderland. Our 1,500 ft2 3-story house was built in 2007 and was furnished with every detail in mind. The natural light shining in through the large windows in every room gives the house a very warm atmosphere.

The first bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and king-size bed covered with high-quality, fresh linens. The second and third bedrooms have comfortable queen-size beds. Every bedroom has plenty of storage space for you to safely keep your belongings. The third bedroom on the third floor is also equipped with a HD television.

On the second floor you’ll find a spacious porch with a table for four. You can enjoy the view here while unwinding with a drink after a long day of exploring the city.

The living room is a great place for everyone to gather and enjoy each other’s company. You can put your feet up on the reclining sofas while planning your adventures for the day. The 55” HD TV is equipped with Apple TV for you to use at your pleasure. You’ll also find an authentic Mason & Hamlin piano, ideal for the budding pianist.

The open-plan kitchen has the essential amenities necessary to whip up a quick breakfast. Guests can enjoy their meal on one of the barstools lining the granite countertop.

Guest Access:

You will have access to everything in the house, just as you would in your own private residence. The kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, oven, gas stove, microwave, granite counterspace, 4-person table, and plenty of cabinets for your food storage. However...Who wants to cook in a city that is world-renowned for its incredible food?! I recommend you store food overnight in the fridge for quick access to a convenient breakfast. The unit receives an abundance of natural sunlight: perfect for enjoying coffee and the rays of an early-morning sunrise before beginning your Charleston adventure for the day!

The Neighborhood:

The house is located in the charming neighborhood of Elliotborough in downtown Charleston. From our place, you can easily walk or grab a taxi or Uber to all of the major attractions in Charleston. Our street is a safe and quiet solace away from the hustle and bustle of busy King Street.

In our neighborhood you’ll find some of the most highly rated restaurants in Charleston. Grab a bite at Persimmon Café, one of the most highly recommended restaurants. Their gourmet soups and sandwiches make it an ideal place for lunch. Hominy Grill is another restaurant, famous for dishing up Southern classics and delicious brunches.

Just a 5-minute walk away is Hampton Park, a great green space with beautiful scenery, a playground, and a duck pond. You can enjoy the day here with a picnic or go for a jog on the trail.

For an authentic Charlestonian experience, visit the Charleston City Market, one of the oldest public markets in America and a National Historic Landmark. Stretching over 4 city blocks and with over 300 vendors, you won’t be short of local souvenirs to buy and Southern dishes to try.

Getting Around

Charleston Pedicabs (bike taxis) are awesome for cruising around downtown; however, another perk of downtown Charleston is that all the major attractions are within walking distance. From Bogard, the walk will be approximately a 10 to 20-minute walk, depending on the spot. Yet fear not, ye haters of walking; Uber, Charleston Green Taxi, Max Transportation, CARTA public buses, and a myriad of other transportation sources are at your disposal should you wish to be lazy :)

This property was perfect for our kid-free weekend!

The property was comfortable, clean and centrally located. I particularly appreciated what some would consider little things such as extra toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, etc. not all VRBOs offer these items beyond an initial sample and this was great. The location is perfect to getting to just about anything in the city. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again in addition to recommending to friends.

Where you want to be!

We were in town for a bachelor party and this place was perfect! Plenty of room for 6 guys to sleep comfortably and a good size common space for hanging out as a group. Check-in and checkout were really convenient and the house was in great shape. There's a fully stocked convenience store right around the corner as well as a handful of quick breakfast spots. The bars and restaurants on Upper King are about a 15 minute walk and the historic district is just a 10 minute Uber ride - this is where you want to be!

We were in Charleston for a wedding. This was a wonderful house--spacious and very clean. Any questions we had were promptly answered by a friendly staff. The only down-side was tight parking for an SUV; however, bicycle rental was within walking distance, and Uber was always available for very reasonable rates. We would definitely recommend this rental house.
