After three times it's a tradition !

  • 5 of 5

Our group has stayed at the Bradford house three times now. Every trip has been fantastic. We are trying to make this a quarterly tradition. Terry and Joe are quick to respond to any questions before, during and after the rental. Joe offered to build us a warm fire in the living room (we arrived a few days after the March Blizzard) and had snow shoes waiting by the door for us to use. Cooking in the large kitchen with two beautiful stoves, large refrigerator, dual sinks and a dishwasher has us eating in for every meal. Always clean and comfortable, we love staying here.

One of the best places we've ever stayed at

  • 5 of 5

We were planning a ski trip weekend for a large group of friends and kids and finding a place that can accommodate 6 family, each with 1-2 kids ranging from 1-4 years old is really hard. Thank goodness we found this home! Not only did it had more than enough rooms to fit all of us, we never felt cramped at anytime. This beautiful home has all of the modern conveniences of a modern home but still retains a wonderful vintage atmosphere. Each bedroom has its own unique charm. The rooms are well insulated and warm. The kitchen is large and beautiful! We had brought food to make during our stay and even with 6 people in the kitchen there was plenty of space to move around. The house is clean and bright with lots of windows making eating breakfast in the morning very enjoyable. Joe, the innkeeper, was super helpful and so accommodating to us; as a bonus he made a pot of coffee for us every morning! Communication with Terri is great, it was a pleasant surprise to receive an answer within an hour or less. This house is only 15 minutes away from Sunapee which was awesome to take the kids to the mountain in the morning, drive back to the house for lunch and head back to the mountain with plenty of time to ski/snowboard. Our big group looks forward to coming back to this house again. Thanks for the awesome time Terri & Joe!

Wonderful Ski Getaway Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

We recently came back from a ski weekend at this property. We had a group of 13, coworkers and friends, and the Inn could not have been more perfect for us. Terry was great to coordinate our trip with, very responsive and helpful, while Joe was wonderful onsite. He showed us around the first night, and lit us a fire in the living room fireplace. He was so great to chat with and helpful about the surrounding area. He left snow shoes out for us that one of my co-workers used the second day!

There are 5 bedrooms (queen bed each) on the 2nd floor, each with it's own bathroom. Three bedrooms have a bathroom attached, while two have designated bathrooms across the hall. The third floor hosts a room with two single beds, and a room with a queen bed along with a day bed/trundle, and each of these rooms has a designated bathroom in the hallway as well! The living space was great, spacious enough for our large group. Flexible dining tables for meals, a couple gathering rooms for games, and a large kitchen with two ovens.

The location can't be beat, with two mountains within 15 min away from the Inn. Half of our group went skiing at Mount Sunapee, while the other half went tubing at Pat's Peak. We had a delicious breakfast at Intervale Farm Pancake House!

All in all it was an awesome weekend and we feel so lucky to have been able to stay at the BVI! Thank you Joe and Terry!

Such a wonderful weekend at the Inn

  • 5 of 5

We just celebrated my boyfriends 40th birthday the end of January. I got a large group of our friends together and our stay at the Bradford Village Inn could not have been better. The Inn had more than enough space for us to hangout, cook, play games and everyone had their own sleeping space. Joe was so wonderful and very accommodating.

The Inn is very spacious but cozy. We had a fire going all weekend, made yummy food and just had the best time hanging out.

The Inn was very clean and each room has it's own bathroom which is a plus when have so many people. A HUGE plus is that it's so close to Mount Sunapee.

I would definitely rent the Inn again for another large celebration and couldn't say enough good things about it to the people that were not able to make it for the weekend. I will recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a weekend.

Thank you Joe for such a wonderful experience :)

Beautiful Place and Friendly Owners

  • 5 of 5

Well maintained place, with updates in the kitchen, bathrooms, and a great TV (we watched the Superbowl!). Fit 18 of us, from 11 to 89, easily. Nice property as well with hiking trails right out the door. Owners were friendly and helpful as well. Looking forward to going back again.

We Loved This Place!

  • 5 of 5

Each year our group of friends (this year six couples) spend a weekend away to socialize, hang out together, play games and eat good food. This year we chose the Bradford Village Inn. Planning the trip with owner Terry was super easy. Upon arriving, we were pleasantly surprised how nice the outside of the Inn was. Obviously old, but super clean and well kept. We were met by the caretaker, who was very nice and accomodating. Once inside, we were even more surprised how nice it was. This place was spotless. It had the beauty and charm of an old Inn or hotel. But with modern touches. Gas fireplaces in some bedrooms and the big common room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, was clean , neat, and well finished. Not a dust bunny to be found. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were, and we all slept really well. Linens and towels were clean and fresh.

Our group would rather cook and hang out than go out to eat. Let me say, the kitchen here is awesome. Clean. Clean. Clean. Brand new appliances, two gas stoves, a huge fridge, two huge sinks, even a dishwasher! It was a so much fun to cook here, and everyone was ten feet away in the common room.

The common room has several tables and lots of chairs that fit our large group, and we hung out all night playing games, talking and laughing hysterically. Some of the girls even did yoga in the front parlor each morning.

There is even a laundry room with washer and dryer.

During the day we went to nearby Pats Peak ski area to snowshoe. There is lots to do in the area, and I wished we had more time to explore the area.

Some of us commented on the fact that it is hard to judge a place by pictures online, and it's never as good as it looks (and we thought it looked nice). I can say we all agreed, this place is better than it looks. Despite our group wanting to try a new area/ place to stay each time we go away, we all decided unanimously that the Bradford Village Inn is a must to visit again. Highly recommended.
