Our Condo is located on the FIRST FLOOR. It has two bedrooms, two baths, with a queen sofa bed which is located in a separate sitting room. Cable television and WI-FI are provided. This fully furnished condo has pots, pans, dishes, silverware for six. It is within walking distance of River Street, City Market, and fabulous shopping on Broughton Street and surrounding streets. Within three blocks are located a fabulous wine shop, Le Chai; a coffee shop, The Sentient Bean; a grocery-health food shop, Brighter Day; and Krogers Super Market. The American Legion Bar, with the best drink prices in Savannah, is also located in this area. This Legion is open to the public. Inside the Legion is a World War II themed American Eatery, Betty Bombers'.

Next door to the American Legion, on Bull Street, is one of Savannah's best restaurants, Local 1110.

Perfect condo in a perfect location!

This condo was fantastic! My only issue with the owners is their photography skills! This place is waaayyyyyyy bigger than the pictures depict. It easily and comfortably can fit 2 couples and honestly 3 couples would be comfortable here as well. There are two living/family room spaces, both with flat screens, chairs and couches for lounging. One of them has a pull out bed and doors that shut for privacy. Two large bedrooms with large closets. The master bed makes a lot of squeaking noise but that wasn't a bother for me. Two bathrooms with large showers (no tubs). The apartment was very clean (and I am quite particular about cleanliness) and had all the amenities for a holiday stay. The location was perfect. We walked to restaurants and were facing Forsyth Park which was nice to walk around in during the daytime. You can walk to city market and river street if you are a walker. They are about a 20-25 minute walk. Parking was easy to find on the street. I would definitely stay here again when in Savannah.

Loved our stay in Savannah

Bob and Carol have done a great job restoring this property. The pictures don't do it justice. The condo was comfortable for four adults and well equipped. Bath towels are small and thin. Cable TV was basic. On Easter Sunday there was a storm and some sports channels would have been nice. Bob and Carol were responsive to our needs and fun to meet and get to know. The construction next door was noisy and their vehicles made parking more difficult and sidewalk access more dangerous. We know this is temporary and future guests won't be dealing with it. Location was great. We got a two day trolley pass and rode it on the rainy days. We walked to downtown and the river front. Tubby's (on the river) for lunch was great. Skip 1190. Service was very slow and prices high for what you get. Be sure to go to The American Legion and Betty's Bombers. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay. As for our thin towels, we have ordered new, thicker towels. You were not our only complaint about the thin towels. We are checking with Comcast about "Sports Channels" but fear it will not be cost effective. Our plans are to leave some games and playing cards in the condo. We also purchased a full length mirror because of an earlier complaint. Our pictures really do not do justice to this condo. That is also on our "to do" list; have better pictures taken.

Gem on Forsyth

This condo was perfect! The picture don't do this place any justice! The location was perfect and easy to find. River Street is just a short 5 minute cab ride, or short beautiful walk. Forsyth park is right out front. They had a great little farmers market Saturday morning there too 😀 The next time We are in Savannah, I would definitely stay at Bob and Carol's place again! Thanks for everything!

Seriously SPOILED

I am pretty sure I will never be able to top this location! We came here for the Half Marathon and were across the finish line and in the shower in less then 5 minutes!!! It was a joy to be able to sit back and watch the festivities from the front porch the rest of the day!!

When you are booking a trip for a group of ladies, one always has to worry about how everyone else will like it - well, we all agreed this was a 5 star experience! The Townhouse is Clean, classy and convenient!! It can't be much better! We were shocked with the spaciousness of this unit and overly blessed by the quality of the furnishings. Everything was comfortable and clean. It really was a treat to be there. A BIG Thank you to the owners for being so easy to work with and gracious in answering all my questions. If I had only one complaint, it would echo a previous commenter - all the mirrors are small and hung rather high ... the addition of a full length mirror would be great.

If my travels every bring me back to Savannah, I will definitely be back here!!

Perfect for our needs

We were attending a wedding at the Forsyth Mansion and they had no rooms left. We booked this property due to it's proximity to the mansion, which is only about a block down the street. Glad we did! The property is nicely furnished, clean and roomy. The location is great - across from the park. We had fun going to the Saturday market. The only thing we missed was having a full-length mirror to check our dresses before leaving for the wedding! We did have trouble finding close parking and we DID get a parking ticket even after being warned. Be aware the signs are different on different parts of the street and target different days and hours, so be sure to check which one applies to your parking space. However, I think this goes with visiting Savannah and we were there during a busy weekend. We would definitely stay at this property again!
