Nice place, beautiful view!
Great location, nice apartment, unbeatable view. Shower was a bit tiny and dark, door was difficult to close and water temperature difficult to regulate. Not a deal breaker. Everything else was great.
Great apartment in the center of Salerno!
The apartment was convenient to the ferries, train station and right beside the old center city with charming restaurants right around the corner. Ivana was very helpful and welcoming!
Can't beat the view and location of this apartment!
The location of this apartment and the view from its windows are amazing! The private parking garage is very clean and a relatively short walk from the apartment. The owner and her boyfriend were very helpful regarding getting our luggage into the apartment and the car to the garage without any tickets (not always easily accomplished in Italy)! She also took the time to tell us about the surrounding area, including where to find the best gelato and pastries and a grocery store. Unfortunately, the apartment itself could use a few upgrades. The sofa in the living room was very uncomfortable and if you looked closely, you noticed that the coffee table and bedside tables were not put together so that the edges were lined up properly. It was also very difficult (nearly impossible) to open and close the shower door completely. With just a little investment of time and money this could all be remedied. In any case, if you want sunshine and a view of the water while staying in the heart of Salerno, I highly recommend this apartment. I will definitely keep it in mind for my future visits!
The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Shops and restaurants were close by.
The apartment in Salerno proved to be an ideal location for accessing transportation to the Amalfi coast. It was only minutes away from the ferry docks, bus stops, and the train station. Ivana, the owner also had pamphlets, maps, and guide books on Italy in the apartment which was very helpful to us. Also, she was quick to respond to questions I had prior to our trip. She was very prompt to reply and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her apartment to anyone and would stay there again. Overall, our experience was wonderful!
Great place to stay in Salerno.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Ivana's apartment in Salerno. We found the unit clean and as described in the listing. Even though the website shows the view of the ocean from the apartment, we were in awe when the front door was opened and we saw the water for the first time. The bathroom and shower were good size and we made use of the washing machine.
Restaurants, bars and gelato shops are all within blocks of the apartment. The train station is 15-20 minutes walking distance as are the ferry terminals. Ivana was kind enough to arrange a taxi for our early morning departure.
This was our third visit to Salerno and our first in an apartment. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the event we return to Salerno.
Good central location
We stayed here as our base to explore the Amalfi coast and the location was great for that. You can get buses easily from this apartment to Vietri (highly recommend a trip here), and all along the coast, and it's 15 minutes walking to the train station where you can go to Pompeii and Naples. There are many great restaurants, bars, gelatarias and shopping literally just around the corner, and the marina is quite close where you can get a boat to some of the coastal towns. The apartment is on a busy street but the views are bellisimo! The apartment has a galley type kitchen with large washing machine, good sized eating area and living room and one bedroom and one bathroom. The window shades close to provide complete darkness for a restful night. Ivana provided towels and fluffy robes, wifi, and was always available in case we had questions. We had a great stay in your apartment, thank you Ivana!
