About the property

Fantastic apartment next to Coliseum and Roman Forum with stunning view on Rome

This lovely apartment is in the heart of one of the fanciest neighborhoods in Rome and only 200 meters away from Rome's most important and known monument: the Coliseum!

You can actually see it (as well as many other monuments) from the balcony of the flat.

As you can see from the pictures, the apartment is tastefully decorated with modern furniture and it has a big beautiful bedroom with a queen size bed and a lovely living room with a queen size sofa bed (140x200 cm) and a dining table.

This one bedroom apartment is very big and spacious since it is approximately 60 square meters big and was completely renovated in October 2014.

The flat is provided with air conditioning in the living room, but it can cool off the whole flat.

Located on the seventh floor (with elevator) of a high-class building, it has a bathroom with a very big and beautiful shower, a fully equipped kitchenette, flat TV and Wifi Internet connection 24/7 included in the price.

The area is incredibly gorgeous and is very well known in the city for its very nice and unique shops, bistros and restaurants.

Two subway stops for both lines of the subway are very close: Manzoni for the A Line (red) and Colosseo for the B line (blue).

Both are at a 5 minutes' walk and will get you to Termini (Central Train Station) in only 2 or 3 stops.

This flat is the perfect choice for a couple who wants to visit Rome, but also a family (a baby cot is available upon request) or a group of friends.

We really welcome your inquiries and questions!

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment (but only in the balcony).

Check in is at 2 pm and check out is at 10 am.

The final cleaning fee does not include a change of towels and sheets during the stay.

Should you need one, we can ask for a quote for the extra change.

This is a self-catering apartment, initial toilet paper rolls, shampoo, and soap are provided.

Upon arrival at the apartment, we will show you the nearest supermarket for all your needs.

Oil, salt, and vinegar are not provided but can be found in the apartment depending on the previous guests.

About Andrea Zamparelli

Back in 2012 I gave up a boring job to pursue my lifelong dream of working in the tourism field. I am very lucky to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and my goal is to help travelers worldwide to come and enjoy the Eternal City!

Why Andrea Zamparelli chose Colosseo Foro Romano (Coliseum & Roman Forum)

The Colosseo and Monti area is probably the most "hip" part of town right now.

Monuments, museums, nightlife all contribute to make this the best area in Rome!

What makes this apartment unique

Two subway stops for both lines of the subway are very close: Manzoni for the A Line (red) and Colosseo for the B line (blue).

Both are at a 5 minutes' walk and will get you to Termini (Central Train Station) in only 2 or 3 stops.

Perfect and clean

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was perfect for us, 2 adults and 1 teen. Location was excellent and so was the view from the balcony. We never met Andrea but his friend and colleague met us to give us the keys and show us everything, she was lovely. This apartment was so bright and so clean and had everything you need for a stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again when in Rome.

Ciao, from Kat, Kelly and Ethan

Great Apartment

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this apartment for 2.5 days and really enjoyed it. It looks just like the pictures, small but very clean and comfy beds. Location was great for us. Andrea arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport and that was fabulous. Although we never met Andrea, he had an associate meet us at the apartment and go over things, she was super nice. I would recommend this place.

Loved the apartment

  • 5 of 5

We loved the apartment. It was small but very clean and bright. It had a balcony with a nice view which we enjoyed every night. Bed was comfortable and clean. Having a washing machine was perfect. It also has an apartment size fridge and a small kitchen area, which we didn't use as there is so much good food close by.

Andrea was a great host, he was very good at communicating with us and arranged a taxi for us from the airport and had a very nice member of his staff to meet us at the apartment upon our arrival.

We felt very safe in the apartment building and in the area. It's a short walk to the colosseum and many restaurant and a grocery store.

Overall a great experience in Rome.

Thank you

An excellent base for enjoying Rome

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was a great base for our 3-1/2 week stay in Rome with a convenient location close to the Colosseum. Especially liked its floor 6 location with small terrace that afforded us a view out over the city toward the Colosseum. Very much appreciated that both the air conditioner and wifi internet performed flawlessly. The apartment has been very functionally modernized but is very sparsely furnished with only 2 small chairs at a small dining table and a small foldout sofa, so really only appropriate for a couple. We wanted to enjoy the restaurants of Rome so only had breakfast in the apartment, but anyone planning on more cooking should be aware there is only a 2-burner cooktop and a microwave. The owner was very responsive when we asked for a toaster, which the apartment did not already have, providing one the very next day. Like most Italian showers, it seems, it is pretty tight--less than 2 feet across from front to back, so heftier or less agile renters should be aware of this. The shower is equipped with a very nice shower wand mounted on a rod.

It is close to a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro stop, and it's virtually impossible to hail a taxi on the street in Rome, so be aware that the nearest taxi stand (across from the Colosseum) is also about a 10 minute walk away. We don't know if this will be an ongoing situation, but there is a little dog in the adjacent apartment that yaps whenever anyone comes or goes. Fortunately it generally did not yap during the night.

Excellent apartment and host

  • 5 of 5

I have only good things to say both about the apartment and Andrea, the host. The apartment is located on a quiet street within easy walking distance from the Coliseum, a large number of beautiful churches and buildings. Nice terrace with a view to the city. Ours was a first time visit in detail to Rome - couldn't have found a better place and host.
