About Janice Kelly
The large picture windows face west for a view of the mountains and ski area. We have a large extended family. We think the house is perfect for family reunions and/or just relaxing.
Janice Kelly purchased this House in 2006
Why Janice Kelly chose Breckenridge Heights
We enjoy being in the mountains. We bought this home because it is within walking distance from the town of Breckenridge. The home feels like a cabin in the woods, but has all the modern day conveniences, including cellphone reception, wireless internet, cable TV and espresso machine. The house backs to open space and the woods, but is also only minutes away from the restaurants, shopping and groceries stores.
What makes this House unique
Our home is spacious and is wonderful for 2 or 3 families. The large great room adjoins the kitchen, so that everyone in the group can visit and be together, even during meal preparation. The house also offers enough bedrooms so that guests can get away for some privacy. The house has two outdoor decks and a large parking area.

Great place for a family vacation!!!
Our family had a 3 generation ski vacation for spring break at Breckenridge Heights. The home was large, very comfortable, well maintained and conveniently located. Our party of 10 was very pleased with the accommodations. Janice Kelly was very nice and a pleasure to work with. We hope to stay there again in the future.
I hope you will come back too I hope you were able to get your grandchildren hooked on skiing.
Thank you for taking such good care of my home and for being so understanding.
Everything you need for a comfortable stay
Our family stayed Christmas week in 2017. The house was well equipped especially the kitchen. The family room is much larger than the picture implied and has many windows for a great view. We had 7 people and had a lot of room to spare. Reading some of the other reviews here is my take on some of the comments. Getting in and out of the drive way can be a challenge. Janice has a service setup to plow when it snows. Without that, depending on your car type, you may have trouble getting in and out if you have heavy snow. She has many snow shovels available to if you need to clear snow on your own. On the subject of noise in the house. No banging pipes during our stay but the radiators make some clicking noises that wasn't an issue. The ample warmth provided by the radiators is worth the clicking :-). One of the really nice things about the property is the location. You are on top of a hill and there is space between the houses. This property backs up to woods. Really nice view from the hot tub. I would most definitely stay here again if we go back to Breckenridge.
The house was perfect for our family vacation.
We loved the quiet setting and the house was comfortably furnished. The house was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 4 children. There is definitely enough room for 12.
Breckenridge is a great place to vacation and this house added to our great experience.
Thank you. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and Breckenridge. Please come again.
Wonderful family reunion in beautiful location
We gathered for a family reunion from across the USA - California, Colorado, Chicago and Georgia. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful and very adequate home. Janice was responsive to inquiries and adjustments that needed to be made - a gracious hostess. We would hardily recommend this home to others.
Great home for the whole family
We had plenty of room for 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. There was even room under the deck to store the bikes. My husband and I stayed in the mother-in-law suit on the lower level. It has a walk out so you can come and go without disturbing anyone. The living room is huge and offered enough room and seating for everyone without feeling crowded. The location was close enough to town that you could walk if you are in good shape and use to the altitude as it is uphill on the way back. Location was also close enough to spend afternoon at Lake Dillon and Frisco. Between the 2 kitchens and outdoor grill you will have everything you need to prepare meals. The house was well stocked with, plastic wrap, foil, a few spices, soap and shampoo so if you forgot something it was there. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking.
Thank you. I am so glad you enjoyed my home.
Wonderful Thanksgiving in Breckenridge
We were a group of 9 adults, 3 children and 2 dog's. The house was plenty big enough for all of us and there was everything you needed to live comfortably while we were there. One of the things we were concerned about was ....would there be enough hot water for all of us? We never ran out of hot water at any time and believe me we were doing lots of dishes and showers/baths.
While we were preparing for our trip, the owner of the house communicated and answered any of the questions or concerns we had. To know that the owner's lived within driving distance to this house was reassuring in case something broke down.
One recommendation I feel should be added to the description of the property is that there is actually 2 kitchen's in the house which made making our Thanksgiving Dinner easy to prepare and plenty of oven/stove space to do it in!
Breckenridge is a wonderful old mining town. It is best for people that love to play outdoors, whether it is sking, hiking, walking the dog, water sports or people watching or people that like to eat and drink.
