Lena the host was extremely welcoming and very organised. She kept in touch during our stay to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. I can definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting New York, especially if you enjoy early morning runs along the Hudson, walking the Highline and visiting the new Whitney Museum.
I rented Lena's apartment for my parents for 1 month during their visit. Lena responded to my request to book within an hour and called to introduced herself couple of weeks before the day my parents arrived. Lena made sure I knew she would be available anytime of the day when my parents arrive. Their flight was quite late and Lena was there at the apartment to greet us with a warm welcome and help with the suitcases. She welcomed us with a basket of organic goodies and beverages. Knowing my parents were tired from a long flight from Thailand, she left breakfast goodies in the fridge for them. My parents were extremely grateful. She toured us around the apartment and explained about everything in great details. She had extra linens and pillows for the bedroom, extra supplies for the bathroom, cooking/baking ingredients/utensils for the kitchen. It was more than we could expect a rental apartment would have for us. It felt like a luxury hotel with own kitchen!
The apartment was very clean and was exactly like the pictures we saw. All appliances were new and clean. Washing and drying machines were every easy to use. Lena called once a week to make sure my parents are having a good stay. We had a cleaning service (covered in the cost) once a week and Lena was willing to change the cleaning time to whenever it was convenient for us. The location of the apartment is perfect, close to many restaurants, chelsea market, highline, movie theatre, grocery store, everything you need!
My parents had such a wonderful visit and they said the apartment and Lena herself were the big part of making it so wonderful. I would definitely contact Lena again when my parents visit me next time. Thank you, Lena, for everything!
Fantastic place to stay, clean and every detail was thought of.... It was a pleasure to stay here, will be back next year for sure
Great location on a quiet tree lined row of brownstones in the hippest area of NYC. Close to Chelsea Market and
the Meatpacking District, art galleries, Highline and the new Whitney Museum. A very comfortable and well appointed unit that was perfect for a couple. Lena, the owner met us and was friendly and helpful, giving us tips on restaurants and other amenities offered in the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in this wonderful apartment for several nights and could not have been more pleased with it! The apartment itself is adorable and well appointed -- it had everything we needed to make ourselves at home! Lena was there to greet us and show us how to use everything, and checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves during our stay. The location was perfect as well. It's located on a cute, quiet street just off a main thoroughfare. It is close to many great restaurants (try Company if you want pizza and great sangria, and Valbella if you're looking for a fancy night out), High Line Park, Madison Square Garden and Chelsea Market. I really can't say enough good things about this apartment, and will definitely check to see if it's available on future visits to NYC!
We had a wonderful Ny getaway staying in Chelsea. The apartment was close to the highline and we walked everywhere... to great restaurants, shops and enjoyed the neighborhood!
Lena was responsive to any needs and the place was beautiful and clean just as pictured.
We will return soon. Cheers!
