This is where you will find the gourmet kitchen and butlers pantry with not only the traditional high end appliances like a stainless steel fridge and a gas range, but also a separate wine fridge, an ice maker, and a warming drawer. Of course it is well stocked with everything you need. Up here you can open the wall of windows (yes, the entire wall is a window!) and enjoy your meal on the huge patio while you watch the sun go down. Or enjoy your morning coffee from the dining room table that enjoys the same view. There is indoor seating for everyone with a table for 8 and 4 additional stools at the bar, or sit outdoors on the nice patio furniture.
On this floor is the Antelope Master Suite with a king bed and a master bath boasting a steam shower, separate whirlpool bath, separate toilet and bidet, a huge double vanity, and large walk in closet . On the other side of this upstairs floor, The Tower Suite has a King bed and a remarkable view of Tower Butte. It is next to another full bathroom with a custom tiled shower. There is a dedicated office space in case you need to catch up on some things from back home, and in it there is a queen size pull out couch for extra sleeping needs.
The downstairs level has a common area with a sofa perfect for curling up to watch a movie on the flat screen TV. There is a kitchenette with a fridge, a sink, microwave, and a dishwasher-- perfect to grab a drink as you walk out the sliding glass doors to the large covered patio by the pool and hot tub. This level has the laundry room just in case you need it. Everyone can find a private spot of their own with 2 more suites on this downstairs level. The Horse Shoe Suite has a King Size bed and full bath. The Navajo Suite has two Queen beds. It also has its own private bath and views of Navajo Mountain.
With over 3600 Sq feet of indoor luxury living and over 2000 Sq feet of covered decks and patios, everyone will enjoy this home away from home as they soak up the beauty and majesty of this remarkable area.
My husband and I both grew up visiting Lake Powell every summer and my parents moved us to Page when I was in high school. I loved coming home to work in the summers until I married my husband and moved to Colorado. Fortunately he loves the Lake as much as I do, and we have been coming back together for 20 years. We come often and bring our 5 kids with us now too! There is nowhere we love more than Lake Powell and the canyons around Page. We have so many wonderful memories of time spent with extended family and friends exploring and discovering new adventures with every visit.
We have camped and houseboated our whole lives on the lake and have been looking for a while for the right home in Page. When we found this home we knew it was a perfect fit for us. We love to bring friends with us and this property is set up for that. We can spend the day on an adventure, then come home to the luxuries of this beautiful home. The kids love to swim in the pool in the evenings while we BBQ dinner and watch the canyons change color as the sun sets. It is magical to us and we never tire of the view! The very best stars at night can be seen here and we love to sit in the hot tub and soak up the moonlight.
This home has all of the comforts a luxury home can offer. It is perfect for us when we bring another family along to enjoy our favorite spot.
If you've never stayed in a 5-Diamond property....here it is. All other vacation properties will now be compared to this one. This home MORE than met our expectations. The pictures you see online are perfect. In person, it's even better! Everything was clean, fresh, and undoubtedly, well maintained.
We had 4 adults and 4 big kids and there was more than enough space to enjoy each other in common areas during social times, and private space to enjoy during quiet times. If we would have had another 4 people, it still would have been adequate space.
The kitchen was phenomenal! Having a prep space in the butler's pantry kept some of the mess hidden and there was more than enough room in the kitchen to prepare meals with multiple people. Enough kitchen tools and spices available to cook anything. The local Safeway or WalMart easily accessible for anything special you might need.
The best feature in the home was the wall of windows that opened completely onto the deck. It expanded your living space to a premium amount. We had the doors opened from 8am - 8pm. Coming from Minnesota where we would be swarmed with bugs and mosquitos it was so refreshing to sit out on the patio every night and relax.
The pool and patio area was amazing! Spent a lot of time out there! We even had a "friendly" tournament bracket set up for ping-pong.
The location was key. #1 -- THE VIEW. Wow -- the view! Close to so many adventures, you could still be active out and about and enjoy all the features of the home. A couple hours away is the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. 10-20 minutes away is Epic Adventures in Big Water, Utah, Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon and right out the back door, we enjoyed 2 trails, which we trail blazed our own down to the rim of the Colorado River. SPECTACULAR! Lastly, other than the occasional plane coming in or leaving the airport next door, you will be amazed at how quiet it is during the day or night. You could see a million stars at night.
Thank you for this beautiful home! Call us when you want to sell. (not kidding)
We had a wonderful stay at the Tahoma house. it's amazing waking up in the morning to the beautiful sunrise over the unique desert landscape. So tempted to stay home all day, but the nearby canyons and hikes are not to be missed! this is a great spot to stay if you are in town for the antelope canyon race. John, the owner, made everything very easy and smooth for us.
We had the opportunity to stay at the Tahoma House for a couple of days hoping we could manage to visit Antelope Canyon, Grand Canyon and Zion National Park throughout the whole trip. Page is somehow located in the middle of all three and seemed like a good spot to settle in. The whole plan, however, changed for the better as soon as we stepped into John's place! We were enjoying the house so much that not only we cancelled the Zion trip, but even forgot about the Horseshoe Bend! and the funny thing is that we don't even feel bad about it. We spent most of our time in the house and enjoyed every second of it. The house comes with full amenities, and believe it or not offers way more than it's advertised. This place really made our Christmas trip. Amazing neighborhood, spectacular view, clean and luxury accommodation, perfect for an unforgettable vacation at the beautiful city of Page.
We spent a week in this home with a large group, 4 separate families. The home is very nice and beautifully furnished. We had plenty of space for our group to spend time together in the various living areas, including both up and downstairs TV areas, large deck and amazing pool area. With 4 bedrooms & bathrooms it also allowed for plenty of privacy and quiet time. It is well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, even a crockpot. Dishwasher and washer/dryer were available. We were pleased with all aspects of the home.
Although the weather didn't cooperate with us for lake time, we were happy to be spending time in such an accommodating home. Next time we visit Lake Powell this house is at the top of our list for accommodations.
Everything about the house was fabulous, in addition it was equipped with all the amenities. The view was amazing. House location was centralized to all the shops & tourists spot adventure in Lake Powell. Thanks John for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We had a blast!!
This is a great property for taking in all the interesting sights and experiences around Page, AZ. We all enjoyed the upper and lower outside "deck" areas the most. Owner keeps pool and hot tub equipment in excellent working order. How many times have you tried to get in a Hot Tub and it's not hot enough? Well, at Tahoma House the tub and pool were perfect temperature and clean. The home was also clean inside and outside with all Air Conditioning, water heaters, and fans working properly. All in all it was a great experience. Thanks!
