Great House, Sizable Bedrooms and Common Areas
The house is awesome. So much room to lounge and relax . Fully stocked kitchen was a huge plus to cook up a family/group meal. All the bedrooms were sizable as well. Lastly, they were very responsive on any questions I had.
I would definitely stay again!
Best Experience Ever
Hate to even leave this review because I’m afraid that this incredible home will become even harder to book. We always stay in Kailua as it’s the best. This home is even bettter than imagined. My family was blown away. It is immaculate and so well appointed. There is nothing else you could want or need. My only regret is that we didn’t spend more time at the house. Wax bedroom is so nicely decorated with comfortable beds. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need. The screened in room is so nice to hang out in. The deck and outdoor dining area amazing. You can hear the waves crashing! Walk one home to the left and down a short little path to what I think is one of the best beaches in the world. Perfect water, bodysurfing waves and a little surf break. The owner has provided a couple of soft top boards, kayak, chairs, beach towels, fins, toys etc. I don’t know how else to say this other than you should not have any doubts about booking this home for your stay. It will be the best choice you have made. Be forewarned though - you
Will never want to leave. Sherri handles all of the booking details and is fantastic and so helpful!!
Beautiful, Wonderful, Fantastic!
The house and location exceeded all expectations. We LOVED everything. The balcony to sit and have coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon. The bedrooms were clean and so inviting. The kitchen is great to cook in, everything we could possibly need to create a meal is provided.
The short walk to the beach, the garden, hearing the waves at night when going to bed. It was all spectacular.
Thank you for making our trip to Kailua so memorable.
Summer in Kailua
Wonderful house with great views! Bedrooms have A/C and the porch has a great breeze. We had dinner for a large group several evenings and the kitchen was well equipped to handle it. We will go back!
A Wonderful Property!
This home is one of the best my family and I have rented. We've been using VRBO and HomeAway for 10 years now and overall have had good experiences. In this case, it was great. The house is very well appointed, and its got easy access to a great section of Kailua beach. I researched many homes in Kailua and Lanikai before settling for this property. In hopes of helping others who worry about a good property for vacation, I'm including some additional details about the experience.
1. Sherri was great to work with.
2. The house has got a really great layout. It's open and comfortable. It has great furniture and beds. There are many areas to sit, relax, read or chat. The kitchen has just about anything you'd need to prepare any type of meal. The back yard is beautiful and perfect for grilling. It has a hot water outdoor shower for post beach rinse off. There are two kayaks, two surf boards, four boogie boards, beach chairs and coolers.
3. The location in Kailua is great. You can easily get to grocery stores, restaurants and highways to get to any part of Oahu.
4. There are multiple dining areas including a kitchen island, breakfast area, dining room with seating for eight and an outdoor patio table with seating for six and a limited view of the ocean.
5. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained.
We would highly recommend this property for anyone with 4-8 people in their party.
Just what we were looking for!
The house is a perfect compliment to the beautiful beaches and surroundings! It was a wonderful week!
Turquoise water and fine white sand have made Kailua Beach a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Add a dash of city chic, and you have Kailua Town. Located on Oahu’s Windward Coast, the main part of Kailua Town consists of a few blocks of trendy boutiques, popular restaurants and kamaaina (resident) hangouts, like the Thursday evening farmers’ markets. Start the morning with pancakes smothered with irresistible macadamia nut sauce at Boots and Kimo’s Homestyle Kitchen or “to die for” crepes at Crepes No Ka Oi. If you’re already at the beach, stroll to Kalapawai Market for coffee and lunch. After a day of body boarding, rehydrate with a refreshing smoothie at Lanikai Juice or cool off like the President with shaved ice from Island Snow. And if you’re in the mood for dressing up—in Kailua terms that means something more than a beach cover-up—Formaggio Grill boasts over 50 wines by the glass. Although Kailua isn’t large, its selection of unique boutiques draws shoppers from around the island. Olive Boutique and Global Village capture Kailua’s sunny lifestyle, while Island Treasures features a large selection of Hawaii artists. Of course the biggest draw to this buzzing community is Kailua Beach. Activities abound including kayak rentals and kite board lessons. You’ll also see lots of people getting their workout by walking up and down this sun-kissed stretch. For a view of Kailua that’ll make all your friends jealous, grab a water bottle and your camera and take the 1-hour Lanikai Pillbox hike. It doesn’t get better than this.
