Beautiful beach home!

  • 5 of 5

My mother, fiance and I spent 7 days at this property. We could not have asked for a better rental! The home was more than large enough, very clean, fully stocked with beach equipment and was beautifully decorated! The bedrooms were comfortable and the master bath was amazing! We had one issue but it was resolved quickly and easily. It is a short, barefoot walk to the beach and a short walk/drive to the nearest grocery store. Everything about the rental was amazing and we will definitely be back. -Thank you!!

Great Hawaiian House near the beach

  • 5 of 5

Our family was in Hawaii for a week to attend a wedding.

There were 6 of us, 3 couples. Each couple had a bedroom and a private bath.

The house was in very good shape and was decorated very nicely in a "Hawaiian " style.

The house had everything you needed for a home away from home.

A big fully equipped Kitchen, a large Living Room and Dining Room., a great outdoor deck with a view to the ocean, and a screened in patio seating area.

Sherri Phillips was very helpful with making sure our reservation was taken care of and giving us instructions once we got to Hawaii.

There are lots of great Restaurants and things to do in Kailua.

We would definitely stay here again.

This property was beyond perfect for our 8 day stay on Oahu. The location to the beach and town couldnt be better. When we first arrived we had some plumbing issues with the toilets and Sherri was quick to get someone over to the house ASAP to fix the problem. The house is about a half hour from Honolulu, which in my opinion was perfect because we didn't want to stay in the craziness of Honolulu, but we're still close enough to easily visit for the day. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location, spacious and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time at this property. The pictures don't do it justice. The house is huge and very comfortable. We loved the proximity to the beach, the yard for kids to run around, and outdoor shower. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome location And home

  • 5 of 5

5 of us stayed in this beautiful home just steps away from a gorgeous section of Kailua Beach. First of all the house is large, with more than enough space for all of us. The running joke for the 9 days we were there is which of the 5 dining areas we should eat at. The kitchen has literally every cooking device you could ever want. Be sure to look before you buy condiments. There was quite a few spices etc stocked in kitchen. The house has air conditioning but we never used it because with doors and windows and fans, the tradewinds cooled the place off nicely. There are 2 DVD players but neither worked. There is also a great sound system and some great CDS. It took us a while to figure that out. Some typed instructions for the technologically impaired like me might be nice. We had 2 showers and 2 baths but one of the tubs was lacking a drain and one sprayed water on the back wall. I told Sherri and she said she would have the owner look into these. The house is beautiful and I do not think the photos can do it justice. The art work on the wall is lovely.

The beach was great. We went there every day, often a couple of times. We have so many beautiful sunrise photos from Kailua Beach. It is a quieter part of the beach which we were grateful for, but if you like more activity the public beach is a short walk.

Kailua was great to shop in as we love the selection at whole foods and we went to several open air markets. Our favorite restaurant in Kailua was Kalapawai cafe and deli. We ate dinner there 3 times and the food was awesome. They told us that they recently won a best gourmet comfort food award and I was not surprised. Delicious. The octopus appetizer and the lilikoi cheesecake were my 2 personal favorites but it is all yummy. We drove to Honolulu one day to buy fresh fish at Yamashiro's fresh fish market. Cheaper than whole foods and right off the boat. Also a fun cultural experience.

The trip was lovely, the house was beautiful and Sherri was helpful. We would love to return.

Turquoise water and fine white sand have made Kailua Beach a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Add a dash of city chic, and you have Kailua Town. Located on Oahu’s Windward Coast, the main part of Kailua Town consists of a few blocks of trendy boutiques, popular restaurants and kamaaina (resident) hangouts, like the Thursday evening farmers’ markets.

Start the morning with pancakes smothered with irresistible macadamia nut sauce at Boots and Kimo’s Homestyle Kitchen or “to die for” crepes at Crepes No Ka Oi. If you’re already at the beach, stroll to Kalapawai Market for coffee and lunch. After a day of body boarding, rehydrate with a refreshing smoothie at Lanikai Juice or cool off like the President with shaved ice from Island Snow. And if you’re in the mood for dressing up—in Kailua terms that means something more than a beach cover-up—Formaggio Grill boasts over 50 wines by the glass.

Although Kailua isn’t large, its selection of unique boutiques draws shoppers from around the island. Olive Boutique and Global Village capture Kailua’s sunny lifestyle, while Island Treasures features a large selection of Hawaii artists.

Of course the biggest draw to this buzzing community is Kailua Beach. Activities abound including kayak rentals and kite board lessons. You’ll also see lots of people getting their workout by walking up and down this sun-kissed stretch. For a view of Kailua that’ll make all your friends jealous, grab a water bottle and your camera and take the 1-hour Lanikai Pillbox hike. It doesn’t get better than this.
