Fantastic family friendly home in coveted, central SF neighborhood. The space is large, private, attractive, clean and comfortable with easy street parking and good access to public transportation.
The space is the first floor of our house. We live upstairs so you may hear some noise or foot traffic at times, but we keep reasonable hours and are mindful when hosting guests. If you are ok with that, you will love our home, location and neighborhood - as do all our guests!
The apt is perfect for business or vacation travelers, couples or families. The apartment features a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, a large living room, foyer, and full size bathroom with tub and shower. With an incredibly comfy queen bed, a stylish sofa which easily converts into a queen size sleeper, (and a great twin mattress that we can provide upon request), our unit can comfortably accommodate a family of 4. Featuring fast WiFi and great water pressure...linens, towels, soap, shampoo, etc. are also supplied. There's high speed internet and cable TV including premium channels like HBO. We can also provide a Pack-n-Play baby crib and a highchair if you need them.
An electronic keypad makes checking in and accessing the apartment supremely easy. Guests let themselves in so we can accommodate check ins at any hour.
We live upstairs and we rent out the lower floor as a fully equipped short term space. We are friendly if you want to interact, but completely respect guest privacy, if not.
Noe Valley is one of San Francisco's most coveted and central neighborhoods. It offers a family friendly village feel in a sophisticated urban environment with banks and bakeries, a pharmacy and post office, a Whole Foods Market, dozens of restaurants, delightful coffee shops, kids playgrounds and parks, stylish boutiques, a vibrant farmer's market and darling town square. It's centrally located and convenient to nearly every other neighborhood in the City. The historic Castro District and fashionable Mission District are particularly close.
You do not need a car, but if you do rent one or drive your own, street parking is free and really easy (it's one of the few centrally located neighborhoods that doesn't require a permit to park for more than 2 hours). There is also good access to public transportation (the 24 and 48 buses and J Church MUNI light rail line, specifically) as well as good access to all the tech shuttles and to the 101 and 280 freeways (a huge advantage for silicon valley commuters).
