Our home is located on a quiet Cul de Sac in a family friendly neighborhood that offers many outdoor activities to choose from. It has a community pool, pocket parks, and golf available. It has a wrap around deck. The layout of the home is a King and queen bedroom on the main living area with their own baths. The second level has a bunk bedroom for 4 children and yet another queen bedroom and bathroom. It has parking for up to three vehicles.

Eagle-Vail is the most family friendly neighborhood in the Vail Valley. People are walking their dogs, kids are playing in pocket parks, and adults enjoy golfing, cycling and hiking right from their back doors. Unlike other Vail Valley neighborhoods; Eagle-Vail welcomes renters. The community hopes to entice it's visitors to stay and own a home in the community. It boasts easy access to both Vail and Beaver Creek. Just down the frontage road you can catch the shuttles to Beaver Creek and visitors are minutes away from I-70 which will take you up to Vail in less than 10 minutes. There are numerous restaurants, bars, spas, deli's and coffee shops close by. The Vilar Center offers orchestra's, live music, ballet, and theatre and the Town of Avon has festivals, farmers markets and music events scheduled throughout the year. The Avon Recreation Center is located minutes away on Lake Nottingham, here you can swim in the indoor water park, do laps, take a fitness class, ice skate, and work out in the full gymnasium. The local grocery store is also close by. It is called CitiMarket and Walmart and HomeDepot close by too. Most locals come to the mountains for the winter but stay because of the summers. The local hiking, rafting, fishing,mountain biking and cycling scene has become as popular as the skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing crowd. Snowmobiling out of Red and White and the Flat Tops is also a draw. The home is located on a Cul De Sac. Our property Manager knows every neighbor and manages and helps with most of their homes. If you visit, feel free to ask the White's or the Reeds on the right a question, or wave to Gary Barnett next door to the West. At the entrance Rob Sinclair and Jean and Kimberly Chelain own the homes to the right. The Chelain's own the Left Bank french restaurant in Vail. It is a safe and private neighborhood that has so much to offer a visitor to the Vail Valley.
The home has incredible vaulted ceilings in the living room allowing for the pristine winter and summer light to warm the home. This natural light affects every room in the home. If you are arriving with children they will love the open floor plan in the playroom and downstairs family room. The laundry room is full sized and has plenty of space to hang items to dry. The wrap around deck is wonderful for relaxing and having a drink after a rewarding day of outdoor activity.
On the top floor there is the master bedroom as well as a queen bedroom. Both have their own bathrooms. Downstairs is a room with four bunk beds and a bathroom along with another queen sized bedroom. The home sleeps 10 comfortably in beds and is perfect for family adventures. There is a one car garage and two additional spaces to park outside the home. The kitchen has modern appliances and it is an open floor plan so while some are relaxing and watching TV or enjoying the fireplace - others can be in the kitchen and or dining area. It is a duplex.

Year Purchased: 2013
About: The Blomgrens and the Poore's own this home. They purchased the home from the Sappenfields in 2013. Our property manager has managed the home since the Sappenfields had owned it so they are very familiar with the home. They purchased it primarily to use in the winter as both families enjoy skiing and had children participating in the local mountain ski programs. However the home sat empty for most of the Spring, Summer and Fall and they have decided to share it with visitors coming to the Vail Valley when they are not using it themselves.
Why Avon, CO, USA:
The property was perfectly located for accessibility to both Vail and Beaver Creek resorts and yet was in a quiet neighborhood where they felt it safe for the children to ride their bikes or walk their dogs. The owners themselves have dogs so the home does have pet hair and dander but it is immaculately cleaned after their stays. Although they themselves are dog owners, they have decided to not allow pets as part of their rental option.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
One of the main selling points of this home was the natural light. It has a huge open feel to the upstairs with a lot of natural light but still feels cozy and warm. The open floor plan is perfect for entertaining, connecting with friends and family or unwinding after a great day outdoors. The home works great for multiple families as it has two living rooms and for the kids and one for the adults.
